REGISTRATION BECOMES LAW!
The Superhuman Registration Act is now law. All individuals with superhuman abilities must register their identities and abilities with the government. Read for details.

Welcome to Marvel Heroes! Our newest site wide plot encompasses a bit of Marvel's Civil War story line, however we are not just copying it! In fact, very little of what will happen here will be similar to the comics themselves. It's no fun just to regurgitate what someone else did. We want creativity and adventure, "what if" twists and lots of conflict! We invite you to join in the adventure, choose a side or try to stay neutral of the Mandatory Registration Act.

A new dawn is upon us, and with it new challenges for all our heroes and villains alike. Another darkness lay waiting to take advantage of the heroes disarray and the mutants distrust. This darkness has no face, but looms over America like a storm that will bring an end to the world as we know it. Nothing will ever be the same once this storm passes, and it is unknown when or if it ever will. Are the heroes ready? Is America ready? Are you? Stay tuned as soon the "shot heard 'round the world" begins to change the face of those we knew as heroes and villains forever.

Marvel Heroes RPG has been up and running for over two years. In that time, we have seen an evolution with the way we do things, going from no major plots to incorporating site wide plots and integrating them with one another's smaller plots. "Bring Her In!

These were the words of the Secretary for Homeland Defence Felix Faustaff today as the 'Grace Period' for meta-human Registration Ends. With its end, any person residing in the United States who possesses abilities beyond the human norm, which includes Mutants, alien citizens and vigilantes, who has not registered is now a criminal.
Speaking at a press conference this morning Secretary Faustaff deftly managed to make this information not only less shocking, but also a tag on to the main story...

"Look at your neighbours, your friends and your families. Do you want them to be safe? Do you want to rest easy knowing that your local law enforcement and SHIELD have the full cooperation of the superhuman community in protecting you? Or do you want to continually be reminded of McKinney?
"With the ending of this Grace Period all 'exceptional' citizens who have not registered are criminals and will be pursued to the full extent of the law. Should they surrender without resistance and register, they will be fully pardoned and incorporated into the various groups which are being set up to efficiently and responsibly make the full use of their abilities."

"However there is one among the superhuman community who has not registered. Who has not answered for her crimes. And who, even now, flees justice and remains a threat at large.
"CAROL DANVERS!
"I hold in my hand a warrant for Ms. Marvel's arrest which has been affixed with the Presidential Seal and marked priority. I urge all citizens and police departments to remain vigilant. Should you see her do not, I repeat, do NOT try and apprehend her. Instead radio for backup or dial 911 and ask for SHIELD. It is SHIELD that will pioneer the search for Ms. Marvel, under the watchful and capable eye of its new director Tony Stark! I have full faith in Director Stark's dedication and ability in enforcing the Registration Act. I also approve any changes he wishes to make to better our technology and improve my ability to keep you all safe!"

"And while Stark is leading the search for Danvers, it will be a team personally selected by me that will bring her down. This team is made up of the creme de la creme of heroes and have succeeded in gaining the President's personal approval.
Ladies and gentlemen! I give to you.... THE THUNDERBOLTS!"

The sky darkened as this reporter watched a Helicarrier pass low overhead and from its underbelly seven figures wearing costumes of red, white and blue joined Faustaff on the podium as he greeted them.

"Under the capable leadership of the new Green Goblin, the Thunderbolts are charged with the aggressive and immediate apprehension of all potentially violent super powered criminals. Goblin, BRING HER IN!"

Faustaff, despite the obvious cheese and drama, which the crowd loved, turned grimly and handed the warrant for Carol Danver's arrest to the Green Goblin before yelling them onward to victory.
The Thunderbolts raced off through the crowd in their pursuit of Ms. Marvel as Faustaff closed the conference with the solemn statement, "All that we do, the government, SHIELD, the Avengers and the Thunderbolts, everything is for the greater good."

This reporter is confident that the 'Bolts (as they are unofficially becoming known) will finally succeed where the other heroes have failed and bring Carol Danvers to account for her crimes.
