Welcome to Marvel Heroes! Our newest site wide plot encompasses a bit of Marvel's Civil War story line, however we are not just copying it! In fact, very little of what will happen here will be similar to the comics themselves. It's no fun just to regurgitate what someone else did. Marvel Heroes RPG has been up and running for over two years. In that time, we have seen an evolution with the way we do things, going from no major plots to incorporating site wide plots and integrating them with one another's smaller plots. This is can be seen in Marvel comics also, like Civil War or Secret Invasion. As we continue to strive to be better, we are always looking for fresh ideas, good writers and dedicated members. Welcome to the super great awesome shocking amazing crazy-good cool thread. It is all of this and more because it is about me!
Arrogant much?
Yes indeed.
I was riding my goblin-glider away after seeing my dad mug some guy when I was caught in a gamma bomb explosion. While I was just lying there, a radioactive spider bit me and a cosmic storm bombarded me. I woke up with these claws, and then I realized that I could paint the future. It wasn't long after that when my biological father appeared to me from a giant igloo and told me that I was an alien.
I told him to piss off.
So then I went to New York City to save this hot-dog vendor because this freaky old blind lady told me to "Save the hot-dog-dude, save the world." It turned out that she was just full of it, so I headed to this tropical paradise with dinosaurs on it in outer space, either on this blue moon or an asteroid shaped like an M, I can't remember which.
Anyway, while I was there, I learned how to shoot a bow and arrow really well. I also discovered a particle that could change my hair color, and I called it the pym particle. After that, I was banished from the science club because my face turned metal and they were just out to get me.

It was about the time that I was forbidden from the science geek club that we enter recent history.
I recall at least three high points.
My geeky background made me a target for The Slim King, who requested my presence in the land of Silly CBox. I went and his Slimness graced me with a job offer. He thought that my resume was meticulously done. Also, I had business cards.
I served him under a pseudonym, Doctor Insanity. I was his adviser on all things science and medical. Life was good when his Slimness could snap his fingers and call in several very... Slim women. I had the wealth, the success, and a very Slim King.
Then it all came crashing down when the Dread Deadpond said that I was going to poison his Slimness! The evil sucker was just out to get me because he too had been in the science geek club! But his Slimness believed him, and it was during my imprisonment that I went insane.
It was slow.
Something like when you know you're drowning, but you can't do anything about it, like when you're passed out and the water level's rising. It crept up on me, thoughts that didn't belong, actions and words that seemed alien yet so familiar.
I was transferred to the psychiatric prison for the criminally unsane. I started this site while I was there, using the buttons from my straight-jacket as keys and a keyboard, and my padded walls for monitors. It worked well enough, you're here reading this, aren't you?
Anyhow, my good friend Commander Kickass proved my innocence to The Slim King, and so I was freed. Now I use my ability to paint the future to predict sports, and I make enough cash to live in a crappy apartment and post here every now and again.

Now we enter news. Since we've covered my past, let's look to what's happening now.
Today it came to my attention that there is a warrant for my arrest in the state of Indiana. Looking into it, I discovered that it was because I accidentally made fun of certain Native Americans in the state. I called them Indians in Indiana. Apparently, they took offense, and contacted the police.
How was I supposed to know that the Native American word for Native Americans is Sioux? I thought I was being politically correct when I called them Indians!
Anyhow, I also married a young cigarette-addicted girl and a male Japanese prostitute today. The young couple looked so in love... I couldn't quite figure out why they had an armed escort though. The girl's father was holding a shotgun the whole time, and curiously enough, he wouldn't stop staring at the boy.
I think he was gay.
But anyway, onto the third event of the day. I discovered a conspiracy! The plumbers intend to take over the nation! Either that, or the local water park. But seriously, which one will get better headlines? Everyone loves water-parks!
I also played the part of prosecutor in a case against an arsonist. The arson had a medical condition, apparently, which excused him from the charge of arson and destruction of private, public and state property. The clerk then determined by throwing a dart at a board that the court will reconvene the day after the rapture. Recess has been declared until then. The jury, which spontaneously combusted, was then cooked and smothered in BBQ sauce by my opponent, the defendant's lawyer. I will tell more when we reconvene.
