Welcome to Marvel Heroes! Our newest site wide plot encompasses a bit of Marvel's Civil War story line, however we are not just copying it! In fact, very little of what will happen here will be similar to the comics themselves. It's no fun just to regurgitate what someone else did. We want creativity and adventure, "what if" twists and lots of conflict! We invite you to join in the adventure, choose a side or try to stay neutral of the Mandatory Registration Act.
A new dawn is upon us, and with it new challenges for all our heroes and villains alike. Another darkness lay waiting to take advantage of the heroes disarray and the mutants distrust. This darkness has no face, but looms over America like a storm that will bring an end to the world as we know it. Nothing will ever be the same once this storm passes, and it is unknown when or if it ever will. Are the heroes ready? Is America ready? Are you? Stay tuned as soon the "shot heard 'round the world" begins to change the face of those we knew as heroes and villains forever.

Marvel Heroes RPG has been up and running for over two years. In that time, we have seen an evolution with the way we do things, going from no major plots to incorporating site wide plots and integrating them with one another's smaller plots. This is can be seen in Marvel comics also, like Civil War or Secret Invasion. As we continue to strive to be better, we are always looking for fresh ideas, good writers and dedicated members. If you're into comics, feel up to the task and enjoy a good group of people, Marvel Heroes RPG might just be for you!

Chaos has erupted throughout America! With countless deaths on her hands Ms. Marvel now stands accused of mass murder and genocide. Unaware that her actions were in fact the result of the villainous Shadow King’s mind control, the American government now faces some tough decisions. Its clear that Ms. Marvel has saved thousands of lives many times before, but what should be done with her now?
But Ms. Marvel’s problems are only one part of the current crisis. Taking direction from a shadowy persona, the Secretary for Homeland Defence, Felix Faustaff, now calls for the registration and regulation of the meta-human community. He demands they make themselves known to the government they claim to protect and become a spec-ops branch of SHIELD, answerable to superiors and, should the need arise, subject to policing.
To this end Secretary Faustaff approaches Tony Stark, already known to be the hero Iron Man, and asks him to spearhead this incentive. Although reluctant, Stark eventually concedes to Faustaff that such a move will indeed be “For the Greater Good” and becomes the first registrant two days before the proposal goes to congress. The Registration Proposal becomes the Registration Act in a matter of hours. Senators, congressmen and even the President all agree that these people, each capable of extraordinary feats, must be controlled and that control begins with knowing who they are.
Heroes and villains alike are divided over what to do, and reforms to Homeland Security leave Faustaff as Acting Director of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division (S.H.I.E.L.D.).
In a surprising move the super-villain team known as the Thunderbolts come forward and proudly register. And, even more surprisingly, Director Faustaff enlists their aid in hunting down and capturing all those who fail to register, offering them a choice – register or face jail time.
Charles Xavier wastes no time in registering, and urges his X-Men to do the same. But the wider Mutant community is in uproar and with Magneto convincing many that this act is directed solely at them many join his Brotherhood. Director Faustaff responds immediately and signs the order to reactivate the Sentinel Program, as well as the mysterious P.R.E.D/x proposal.
And the Hellfire Club watches in silence...
