We are pleased to announce two new members on our team of staff. Mimic and Slim have both agreed to join up with the admin team and aid us in making this place even better. Now, hopefully it will take even less time to approve applications, advertisements and get help to our members and guests who require it. Welcome Slim and Mimic!

Welcome to Marvel Heroes! Our newest site wide plot encompasses a bit of Marvel's Civil War story line, however we are not just copying it! In fact, very little of what will happen here will be similar to the comics themselves. It's no fun just to regurgitate what someone else did. We want creativity and adventure, "what if" twists and lots of conflict! We invite you to join in the adventure, choose a side or try to stay neutral of the Mandatory Registration Act.
A new dawn is upon us, and with it new challenges for all our heroes and villains alike. Another darkness lay waiting to take advantage of the heroes disarray and the mutants distrust. This darkness has no face, but looms over America like a storm that will bring an end to the world as we know it. Nothing will ever be the same once this storm passes, and it is unknown when or if it ever will. Are the heroes ready? Is America ready? Are you? Stay tuned as soon the "shot heard 'round the world" begins to change the face of those we knew as heroes and villains forever.

November's spotlight showcases a newer member who has taken on several characters and has put forth an awesome effort on the RP and is a very good writer!! Great job,Jean Grey!
Marvel Heroes RPG has been up and running for over two years. In that time, we have seen an evolution with the way we do things, going from no major plots to incorporating site wide plots and integrating them with one another's smaller plots. This is can be seen in Marvel comics also, like Civil War or Secret Invasion. As we continue to strive to be better, we are always looking for fresh ideas, good writers and dedicated members. If you're into comics, feel up to the task and enjoy a good group of people, Marvel Heroes RPG might just be for you!
Most all written stories and content supplied by the staff and members of Marvel Heroes RPG. Marvel Comics is our basis for most all graphics, characters and the Civil War plot. No copy rights infringement intended.
I will be the one to leave you in your misery and hate what you've become.

Winter had come early to some places of the world. Cold air and stiff breezes that cut through the material of clothes and through the slim wraps of flesh and bone to leave a chill through the body. Clouds weren't a problem, but the sun didn't have the heat to warm the world. It was a shining ball in the sky, a false warmth that only seeped into the top layers when the wind stopped.
High above, atop event he highest clouds, a long deck spread out. Leaving no resistance to the winds so far above the world it's self. The chill here was brutal if you stood too far out. Requiring stiff clothing and even stiffer resolve to tolerate it. The howling across the metal surface had a shrill ring, like the last gasp of fading spirit.
Standing just outside an open door a man stood. Though wrapped in a long black coat, it didn't seem to stay put. Whipping around him like a wind sock in the brutal assault of the air. His brown hair was disheveled, snapping back and forth as the air shifting with the whims of the cold. His hands stayed in the pockets of the coat, holding it somewhat in place, but casually and not to warm him.
From over his shoulder small flickers of fire, a yellow/white mix, crackled in the air with the movement as well. From the front his bare stomach was visible, but it vanished into the glow of a living fire swirling from the bottom of his rib cage up to almost his nose. Black pants with a chain jingling in and out of view from the front cracked against the skin underneath, protesting it's restraints.
The only remarkable markings, besides the fire, was the small A emblazoned on his belt buckle. Even his eyes, large but vacant, showed less sign of life than the fire burning hot and steady from him. What should have been warm air near him for the fierce burn was still cold air. Despite it all, the fire provided even less warmth that the slight shutter of his eyes.
He'd stood there for over an hour, just watching the sun light the blue sky. It was a scene of peace and serenity despite the cold and wind. However he couldn't find the beauty no matter how hard he tried. Giving up without so much as a sound of a groan he turned, entering the door once again and closing it with a simple touch on the pad.
Crossing to the chilled hallway he should have felt some tingle of relief from the heat, but he felt nothing. He never did. Instead he wondered aimlessly, looking down and passing S.H.I.E.L.D. staff as he walked. A few stepped away or pressed to the side. Some didn't even show a reaction. All in all he didn't seem to care either way. He simply walked, letting his mind work.
Coming to a small doorway deeper in the carrier he would have sighed if he had lungs, but instead he squinted ever so slightly. This was the area he was suppose to stay in. The place he actually belonged. A place for freaks like him. The other registered members. Do you still smile, Sunshine? Shaking away the thought he pushed the code into the panel with a pale hand and walked in.
