Welcome back to another edition of Chuck Hoight's aptly named Side Column!!... Seeing as I hardly get a front page news this should surprise people that I have second page again this week. Apparently the police have been trying to cover up certain augmented humans they have found dead this past week all over town, reports from around say they look like humans with metal parts but the best scene, was caught a week ago, when early morning drivers caught an attack on the street and said that someone was furiously fighting these said augmented humans. A man's description as he saw the person running from the scene.
"That chick like beat up all those metal human things, she was pretty hot. She was wearing a jogging suit, who kicks butt in a jogging suit. I just had to stop and call the police so I could be famous or something."
Now that was the direct quote from an early morning driver that had been there on the scene. Another man spilt his coffee and crashed his car.
Most of these bodies have turned up in lower Manhattan and the Bronx. I couldn't reach the police for comment and some reason I assume I should just not rely on them ever contacting me back.
So I ask you people if the way our future is headed are we regular humans truly safe with any of these human deviations?
In other news, aren't we all glad the symbiote problem is over with! I honestly hate thinking about what new threat we face each week, this has been another great edition of Side Column!
