( The original plan eventually had after a few failed attempts to stop Shuma. Then a planned assault, ending having Vision stop it with the spear of destiny with a possible magic user or more helping banning Shuma from earth but the spear will be stolen by a villain .)

A long time ago:
Three books became known as the Iron-Bound Books of Shuma-Gorath. The Vishanti and Shuma-Gorath were eventually known to each other some time after the formation of the mystic trinity and became bitter foes to this day, neither succeeding in destroying the other.
After a Heist at a Museum, The sinister six accidently unleashed a small tear in the barrier protecting earth on Holloween. Nightmare also came through the tear in the barrier. Shuma-Gorath was now moving towards earth. The first of his powers allowed him to create a few small versions of himself. to help with the transference. Doing so weakened dimensional barriers, enabling the Old Ones, Shuma-Gorath included, to once again establish a foothold in the Earth-Realm.
Over the next few weeks, the fabric of reality starts flickering which is noticeable to those with certain powers and magics at first. Now with a 50% manifestation coming to New York soon. The protectors of the earth will start to gather to stop Shuma-Gorath cause if they don't in two weeks time the earth will no longer be what it is today.

Going to have two threads to start with. Going to wait till 1/23/2017 to officially start the thread. The first thread consists of more powerful characters trying to take down the manifestation in New York. Don't worry after the manifestation disappears a time-lapse reality will send everything back to the exact time it arrived leaving the city unchanged so we can destroy everything.
As for the second thread (OR more) will deal with the three books the Iron-Bound Books of Shuma-Gorath. Nightmare is a possible but I would need someone to help me with that. This thread or more can have anyone I suggest street level up to mid level.
The reason why I am holding off a few more days, I would like input so I can edit this one last time to include your stories, perfect chance for OC to get known or be productive.
If interested you can give me your name and a description of your character. At the end insert your story for character development so we can incorporate your story.
This is just a simple example.
Example: Mr. Negative: Character based on negative powers, interested in stealing the iron-bound books.
