Safety in a home garden (Kei/Klara)

Klara looked a bit shocked as he held her at arms length. The flurry of questions was one thing but the being told she was to go home with him..... nope! She planted her feet firmly on the ground and refused to budge.

"Stop!"

She looked up at him with wide eyes.

"First... I'm not going anywhere yet. Second... slow down! That was too much too fast. English isn't my first language and you just seemed to speak it at double time to me. As for the last question..."

She tried to pull out of his grasp.

"This... this is Ice Cream. He's been leaned... loaden... lended ... ohhhh anyway... he's mine until he vanishes. The bird that took me was owned by the same person who owns Ice Cream. Also Majesty and several others. If they follow the path we lost some of the ones looking for us a while back and took a rather long detour to get here. Hopefully it will be enough."

Sighing she sunk her fingers of her free hand into Ice Cream's fur.

"Ice Cream... this is Robbie... Robbie... Ice Cream."

She then looked at Ice Cream without looking at Robbie.

"Right now.... right now.... ummm."

Robbie stopped and took a deep breath, realizing he was scaring the kid. His big brother instincts had kicked in and it was Gabe in danger all over again. He smiled at the giant cat, wondering who the hell owned a monster like that. He leaned down onto one knee. "I'm sorry Klara, I was really worried about you and I overreacted. I am glad you are safe and your friend came to help you. Whoever they are seems to be smart enough to get the bad guys off your trail. I drove around a few times to make sure you weren't followed. Your home hasn't been discovered yet, if that stays true I don't know. I am not sure what we are dealing with or who is involved, which is why I want you to come home with me. At least until your friends come get you so I know you aren't alone."

He was being cautious as his eyes went to the giant monster cat. As the Rider he was sure he could take it, but there was something about it that sent a chill down his spine. The intelligence in its eyes, the way it was looking at him as if studying him, ready to pass it on to whoever it answered too. There was strength there, real dangerous power and someone commanded it.

"Hello Ice Cream, it is a pleasure to meet you." He felt a little silly talking to a two ton killing machine, but Klara seemed to feel very safe beside it.

Ice Cream stared at the young man before leaning his head down, nuzzling Klara. His ice blue gaze never leaving the human. At his greeting, the giant Sabre smirked.

"The pleasure is mine, worry not, Klara is safe here with me for now."

Robbie blinked as he stared, waiting for something to click. Yep, this massive white sabretooth tiger just spoke to him. He cleared his throat, turning slowly towards Klara.

"Umm, Klara. This friend of yours, who are they?" He was getting even more curious and cautious, not only did the person command a talking giant tiger, whoever they were seemed to have a connection with Klara by the way she spoke about them.

Klara looked worried at him about the being alone.

"I'm not alone... my friends are here."

She didn't signal where or if that included Ice Cream or not. The offer to go home with him was tempting but she wasn't sure. This was a second option and so far both of her options were not something she would want to rush into. As Ice Cream spoke she giggle a little at seeing Robbie's face and reaction. She wanted to laugh more but thought it cruel. She put her hand onto Ice Cream's fur.

"His name is Kei.... ohhhh that reminds me...."

Her eyes lit up as if all the days troubles were gone in a blink of an eye, however, her eyes told of other feeling buried deeper.

"That's what I wanted to talk to you about. I saw you across the street and called after you but you didn't hear me as it was busy and you went into the bank and I really wanted to talk to you and get ideas on how to do something cause I like really really...."

She paused and looked to Ice Cream slowly.

"Erm... he can't hear what I say around you? If he summons you again you won't say anything to him please? Please don't say anything? If you can't help but say something could you please erm... I don't know... cover your ears?"

By now she had turned bright red in the face and was fidgeting.
