Ziggy thought about telling them but at the same time she didn't.
"I can't say."
Was her only response to sibling or friend. It was a shame that it wasn't curable. Maybe in a few years though. She frowned deeply for a moment before she looked between one and the other.
"Fisk.... Fisk?..."
She rubbed her forehead trying to figure things out. The name sounded familiar but where was it. Before the spell? Yes, right don't force it.
"I'm sorry to say that I can't remember anything about you. So what you may or may not have done really doesn't factor here. I like working on problems but I am no raiser of the dead. Sometimes you have to just let go no matter how much it hurts. Clones won't work. Not at this point. You need to fix the problem before cloning her. There are a few techniques which I have seen but I honestly don't know if or how long it will hold for. If we were meant to live forever then we would."
She contemplated what was being said and wonder where the information was coming from.
"If she was being held in suspension it would be easier. I will look but I honestly can't make the living alive again. I also don't know what state her mind would be in or if she would even be the same person. In order to fix her you will need to be able to cure her ailment first then bring her back to life, if vampires can't make it happen I don't know who can."
Ziggy was confused and disorientated by what she was being told. If this man was planning on bringing her back she thought it was completely wrong.
"Let me look at the technology and we can go from there. I fear, thought, that she is too far gone to bring her back as she was and even if you manage it I doubt she would be the same."

Both Fisk and Bluestein led her to an elevator that took her to a secret basement. "Oddly enough she seems to be intact body and soul, at first she seemed confused but once she realized what her husband was doing she's tried to be cooperative. Frankly she has a remarkable amount of willpower. I can't help but admire that.
"She was always a strong woman." Fisk said as he could not help but give a small smile. There was a reason why she was the only woman that ever truly won his heart, and chances are she'd be the only one that ever would.
As the elevator opened up it revealed a large white room brimming with scientist and machines. at the far end was a large elaborate machine and under that machine was a medical looking gurney. on that gurney was a skeleton. No flesh, only bones. The machine fired it's beam and it seemed to work at first. Veins then muscle and then flesh appeared soon Vannessa was seen in her full live form. Her eyes shot open and she let out a gasp. Then she along with the scientist around her started counting.
"55..." She let out a grown as her skin began to break down
"56..." muscle started to break down.
"57..." she let out a scream...
1 minute....and she was nothing but bones once more.

Ziggy frowned at the comments and hugged the books and bag.
"You say her body and soul are intact? How do you know this?"
Then she was shown into the room where something out of nightmares was seen. She watched with a cross between horror and fascination. Although when it came to the breakdown she screamed for them to "stop" as a memory flooded into her mind. A man or alien through a porthole, fire, explosion and heavy feeling of falling. The eyes of the person and what happened, a feeling of deep sorrow and knowing the things life was worthless. Its job done. It was all overwhelming what had she witnessed? What was at the tip of her memory but couldn't be retrieved. The books and bag fell from her as she turned and ran! Down the hall back to the lift. She could feel the heat, beyond the door that wasn't there. See it happening time and time again. Her hand hammered the up button but her legs giving out. The Bamf had ran after her worried.
"You wanna go home?"
Where was home? Where was she? She was trapped and falling. She pulled her legs up to her chest. The memory started to fade, she felt sick to her stomach.

Fisk looked shocked as he heard Ziggy's blood curdling scream only to see her running toward the door. He quickly realized what he had just done he looked to the scientist at the machines and gave a vicious sneer.
"IDIOTS!!!"
He quickly ran toward the direction Ziggy had gone. despite being the size of a large sumo wrestler Fisk was surprisingly quick and agile. When he caught up to her he watched as she started have her break down. Collapse on the floor crying in anguish. he could see it in her eyes. She was having a traumatic flashback of some kind. Someone...had hurt her...his...
Fisk immediately started to have a flashback of the man who hurt him...his own father. *Smack* *No daddy stop!* *Smack!* *I'll be good I'll..* No he couldn't think about that. He had to push through for Ziggy...he had to do it for her sake. Without a secound thought he walked over to her and slowly and gently pick her up.
"Shhhh....it's ok it's ok...I got you I got you..."
She was like but a baby in his arms. Frisk's mind was reeling. He didn't know what to do. He was no therapist and he certainly was not a comforter. How could he break through such a traumatic flashback? Racking his brain he could only think of one thing to do, It was a long shot in the dark and the odds of it helping were...low to say the least. But it was the only thing he could think of. His mind went to a lullaby that Vanessa would sing to Richard when he had night terrors. it always had a way of comforting the boy and calming him. Maybe it would work with Ziggy all he could do was hope. He closed his eyes, wiped her tears, and began to sing softly, yet strongly as he gently rocked her back and forth like a baby., hoping that maybe his voice along with the fatherly motions could help bring her back to reality and soothe her.
Baby mine, don't you cry
Baby mine, dry your eyes
Rest your head close to my heart
Never to part, baby of mine
Little one, when you play
Don't you mind what they say
Let those eyes sparkle and shine
Never a tear, baby of mine
If they knew sweet little you
They'd end up loving you, too
All those same people who scold you
What they'd give just for the right to hold you
From your head down to your toes
You're not much, goodness knows
But you're so precious to me
Sweet as can be, baby of mine
All of those people who scold you
What they'd give just for the right to hold you
From your head down to your toes
You're not much, goodness knows
But you're so precious to me
Sweet as can be, baby of mine
you're so precious to me
Sweet as can be,...baby of mine...
he still kept her cradled after he finished the song. He wasin't the best singer in the world not by a mile. He didn't even know if what he just did helped. "Come on, let's take you back to Mr. Wagner," he said in a soft warm tone.
OOC Note: This is the song Fisk is singing.

Ziggy was shaking by the time Fisk picked her up but the touch was something she hadn't felt for what felt like a very long time. As he sang she was able to focus on the voice and gradually come back from the memory. Gradually her breathing eased and her shaking slowed. She took a deep breath as he finished the song but didn't look at him. His next words made her pause then shook her head.
"No.... Not yet.... I need to know."
Closing her eyes she wiped away the tears. The stomach wrenching feeling as fading and the memory disappeared to the background once more. She didn't fight the memory to keep hold of it. She was stronger than that and knew that her reasons must have been good in order for her memories to be wiped.
Wiggling down she looked up at Fisk.
"Thank you though but I need to speak with your scientists. I need answers and to stop them causing further harm. I know what is wrong but I don't know if I can fix it yet."

Fisk followed as she headed back to the room. "You already know what's wrong? Tell me people what was it Miles Warren missed when he created this thing? What's causing the cellular degeneration?"
Fisk was more of a businessman than a pure scientist but unlike many of his competitors he did prefer to have knowledge in the lines of business he was involved in and contrary to appearances he was not a big dumb brute. In another life he could have easily gotten a doctorate in just about any field he chose to be in. Maybe in another world, he was a college professor, maybe he was an actor or an artist. Maybe he was Bruce Banner, or Tony Stark. But that was not his life here. Here he only had one focus and that was to get his wife back and his arms. And if Ziggy really did know what was going on, then maybe that was even closer than he imagined.

Ziggy nodded at the knowing what was wrong. Then paused before speaking something she did very little of but in this case she knew it was needed.
"Knowing what is wrong and fixing it are two different things. I haven't seen it completely but I know where to start. It will take time to trace the fault to the exact part but I know where on it to look. First, you need to stop trying to bring her back as each time you do you will decrease the chances of her coming back. Secondly, there are a few parts I need to take a closer look at. I can duplicate and correct and put back. Finally, It is not one thing that is causing the problems but lots of different parts having issues. From what I could see, some of the parts are incorrect in how they are supposed to be used. That being said, they way they are being used can be a way to use them."
She swallowed as she entered the room and started to pick up the notes.
"For example, the DNA decoder over there is not a DNA decoder but something that will strip DNA before putting it back together. Yes, you need it but you need it fine tuned. It needs to look at the DNA, possibly alter it so that it doesn't spread the cancer to the rest of her before it then puts it back into her. To fine tune it I need to experiment and look at it."
She pointed at a nearby panel where controls were linked into it.
"This panel is good, just needs a few alterations in making it better. I'll need to look behind it to figure it out."
She then pointed the the machine above Fisk's wife.
"That, however, is the major problem. I will need to get up there to check all the wiring and also a few of the components.... I don't think they are found on Earth. I'll need to go look in a few shops I know of but I don't know what I'll need until I get up there just that it has something wrong up there."
She turned to Fisk.
"In order to do that all safely you will need to turn it off, isolate each section at a time and keep your wife where she can't be fallen on. There is a lot of good in what has been done here just something.... off."

Fisk looked over to the rest of his men "You heard her. I want this thing dissected and isolated, have my wife moved over to an isolation warren. There are to be no more attempts until we actually know what we are doing here! This girl is in charge and will be obeyed without question. A command from her is the same as if it were coming from my very mouth...and you all know how I react to those who don't do their job. Understood?"
The others nodded. "Yes sir!" They all said in unison, and they quickly got to work doing as Ziggy had told them to do. Fisk looked to Ziggy and smiled.
"As of now, you are temporally my second in command. My resources are at your disposal. Whatever you need or even simply want, you can consider it done....and thank you. You've given me something I have not had in a long time."

When the people started moving around the room Ziggy moved over to a table and laid out her books. There were some things to be considered and that was one of the hardest things to do. A cure? Was there one? She asked for a white board and once it arrived she set up a grid labeling it with the name of the section, part that needs to be looked out if it is tested and outcome, parts needed, problems. She looked at the board and left the bottom line empty all bar the question mark. She had no idea if it was possible but she knew it needed to be sorted somehow.
An hour went by and she made sure that tests were set up for her return the following day. She first needed to go via somewhere.... where was it... there was a bit missing which was the question mark. She knew she knew deep down what it was but she couldn't say it out loud as it was a deep memory. Something she wasn't sure of and didn't want to press.
She also asked for a coffee machine to be brought along with ring doughnuts. Sugar, caffeine and carbs! Brain fuel.
Finally she sat down with a sigh and looked to the Bamf.
"I'm nearly ready to go home. I just need to talk to Mr Fisk about something... Tomorrow I need to go shopping."
The Bamf was a little more wired as he had been drinking the coffee too.
-----------------------------------------
The following day Ziggy appeared with a bamf. She looked a little uncertain but got to work. Her jacket was on and her beanie was a lovely pink colour. She appeared in the middle of the room and looked around at all the different things. Shortly she got to work. Taking all the readings from the previous night and adjusting a few things. Soon the section she was working on was humming away merrily. Though what it did was now was slightly different.
She worked on another section and then paused. She needed to find a few components but also knew what was needed to make it all work... well work for her. The Bamf sat there watching and handing her tools when it needed. The people here would never know.
