War and the X-men (ALL X-MEN, PLEASE READ)

      So, now that Cable and Pestilence are currently beating each other to bloody messes, and I know Marty has a plan for Famine against The Defenders, I figured it was time to start planning something for War against the X-Men. My thoughts are of a three stage plot. The first would be War taking out all of the X-Kids and the X-Men of lesser capacity. The second would be War leading a team of X-Men, led by Ororo, into an ambush. The ambush will happen at the Savage Lands. The third, would be the ultimate showdown, where Storm, and several of the "iconic", or more well known, X-Men fight to bring their friend back.

     I will be needing victims volunteers for this.  Martyr has already volunteered Mary. I need three more for the first thread. 


     Phase ONE: Capturing the X-Kids. War will achieve this by sending out a massive email to all the X-Kids/weaker X-Men. The ploy will be that Wolverine will need help with planning something for Ororo. The 4 victims will be the last four that War needs to move onto second stage of the attack. I haven't quite nailed down the location, but that's open for us to discuss and figure out.

     Phase TWO: Ambushing the Saving Team. As stated above, War will set an ambush for a rescue team led by Storm. I'll need more experienced X-Men for this. This thread will be taking place in the Savage Lands. War will remove one X-Man at a time, leaving Ororo to fend for herself near the end of the thread. My plan is to have War be revealed to Ororo, and her knowing right off that it's Logan is being manipulated by Apocalypse. The ones that are supposed to be saved, won't actually be there. It'll be a beacon of sorts, making them think that they are and leaping to save the young ones. I'd like to have it be Ororo who only makes it back to the mansion, buuut, this is up for debate. Upon rethinking everything, I would like to have it be that Ororo and Husk manage to get away. All due to Warpath and Domino "sacrificing" themselves. Which will help further down the road.

     Phase THREE: Ultimate Showdown. War, angered at Ororo's escape, sends her a location where to confront her former lover. This one will need the more famous/capable X-Men. I haven't fully fleshed out this idea, so I'm hoping to be able to bounce ideas off of everyone. In my head, I kind of see this playing out as War being taken in by the X-Men, the brainwashing being broken, and then Logan, enraged at Apocalypse, decides play "War" in an attempt at destroying The Horsemen from the inside. I'm hoping, again, for at least four volunteers.

     Phase FOUR: Breaking the Mind Control. War is subdued during the battle with the four listed above. While confined to the sub-basement of the Mansion, Ororo gathers a few of the X-Men to help bring Wolverine back. This will help start a plot where Wolverine will become a mole, free the captured X-Kids and X-men.

     Feel free to reply at any time, just know that I'd like to start this thread by the time that Cable/Pestilence kill each other. Mind you, it'd be the first thread alone that gets started at that point. The others will happen further down the road.

You've got Arianna for Phase 2 and 3 depending on where you need her. She is a more capable X-men and has loyalties to wolverine.

I will offer Cyclops for this. You can't really have a showdown with Wolverine without those two coming down to the bricks at the end now can you?

Revan! You asked a great question! And, I have a great answer! I had been debating on what I wanted to have happen to the Heroes who attempt to help on phase two. And I had originally thought that they would become just regular prisoners. I wouldn't want War to seem inept after the attack on Pestilence and the successful kidnapping of the X-Kids. But at the same time, I don't want to downplay how capable the other heroes are.

So, what I am thinking is that Ororo and one other will be able to escape. How that happens could possibly be due to the other two X-Men distracting War and his forces so that they can quickly get away, or more likely, Domino's luck manipulation will make it so that Ororo and the other one can escape. As great a tactician as War is, you can never count for luck. What will happen to the two distracting? Captured and brought to where the X-Kids actually are. Ororo and the other one will make it back to the mansion, telling the ones who didn't go with her (I'm thinking Cyclops, The Professor, Angel, X-23, and a few others) about how she knows how things happened and who made it happen. Revealing to all the X-Men present that Wolverine had been abducted and brainwashed by Apocalypse.

Not to long after Ororo's escape she'll get an email. Coordinates as to where to go if she wants to save Wolverine. War will have been enraged at the idea of people escaping. He doesn't like to leave a job half complete. She'll discuss this with the other heroes and they'll have a plan to bring in War and try to turn him. The team of Storm, X-23, Angel and Cyclops will be the heroes who respond. And they'll successfully subdue and bring in, War.

That'll lead into a fourth phase that I just thought of. It'll be The Professor, Storm, Aria, and Angel, all taking turns to try and break the mind control and turn War back into Wolverine. This will then lead into War being a mole and secretly plotting behind Apocalypse's back on how to defeat him. What then will happen will be War/Wolverine actually allowing the captured X-Men to break free and save the X-Kids. All the while, feeding the X-Men info on Apocalypse's plans, ship layout, etc. All the vital information you can think of.

Now I don't know the full plot of the Apocalypse thread. This is what I'm thinking of happening, if it goes against what the other Horsemen/Mods want, then I shall alter it as necessary. A few things to note. I'll be having War make an appearance in What Concerns You Much, it won't be more than a post, but it will (probably) put the Professor on edge, since this won't be the first time Logan has become a Horseman. Also, all of this will be spread out, as given the course of the plot. I'm hoping phase two and three will happen more towards the end of the thread, so everyone would essentially be on a "standby" ready to go when I send the PM.

Is all of this fair for everyone?
