"Feel my will conquering yours! Hear my voice... look at my eyes! Look at me, slave!” ----------------------------------------- Shriek sat down, her hands slightly trembling from anger, her adrenaline pumping; she barely felt the stab to her arm any longer. Watching Spidercide heal the men her curiosity was intrigued, before she could ask though he was tending to her sound and explaining how he did it. “ Thanks, I feel better… I think I might know who we are looking for, I used to hear about a man with purple skin back at the Mansion. I think it was something like Purple Man, he… he basically had people thinking he was Jesus.” Frances would say standing up and taking a deep breath, she would hesitate though as she heard footsteps coming down the hallway. “ Stand behind me…” Shriek would say. A sinister laugh could be heard as he approached the doorway, a purple face inside a well-dressed Armani Suit walked into the doorway, his goons close by guarding him. “ You know Shriek I had heard you went to the X-men, what a shame to lose such a valuable villain in our community. But to see you hanging with… well Spider-Man is a bit contradicting to the old you.” Killgrave would say strolling further into the room and examining the men on the floor, “ Finish them” he would say towards one of the guards before he shot both men dead. “ Let me guess, the other X-men were too busy to come save the boy? That sucks because I was looking forward to perhaps getting some of that Omega Level mutant blood, but… you're not too far off yourself Shriek. What are you Alpha Level? That's pretty good, I've read about you controlling entire cities. That's pretty neat I Must say.” Killgrave would say smiling looking at her as she stood in front of Spidercide. “ Not sure what exactly you think you're going to get from us, but it'll be over my dead body” Shriek would say as her hands started to glow. “ So be it… I can't stay for this debacle that's about to go down, but can't say I didn't offer you an easier choice” Killgrave would say smiling.

Spidercide's Spider-Sense was going nuts. Killgrave ordered the guard to kill the man he wanted to fight against him but something was holding him back though he wasn't sure what. Purple Man was Releasing SOMETHING though he didn't know what and it was causing Spidercide seemed to freeze up. he wanted to fight back and stop the guard but his body would not cooperate. Then the shot was fired. "NO!" he screamed as the shot man fell dead. HE could feel his rage boiling up inside of him as Killgrave continued to talk. It was right when Kilgrave bragged about how he could not stay, that was when Spidercide's body seemed to be back in his contorl. Imediatly, he shot a "web fluid" onto the wall and that web fluid seemingly began to grow and spread, covering the walls, doors and window, until essentially every exit in the church was blocked off. In truth this was not web fluid, or at least it was not like Peter's this was organic coming from Josh himself, and like with the rest of his body he had absolute control over it. Which means he could essentially do cool tricks with his webs as long as he kept focus. In this case, he was going to ensure Purple Man was not getting away. "The only way you're leaving this room is in a bodybag Purple Head."

"Feel my will conquering yours! Hear my voice... look at my eyes! Look at me, slave!” ----------------------------------------- Killgrave smiled amused at Spidercide's rageful actions, “ Anger is useful only to a certain point. After that, it becomes rage, and rage will make you careless. What you assume is stopping me is only showing the world what they already know, that there's a mutant freak and her sidekick gone rogue” he would say laughing as sirens could be heard pulling up. “ When we don't know who to hate, we hate ourselves. But anywho, I believe I'll be leaving… now'' Killgrave would say as a large explosion would come through the front door. “ Get on the ground!!” Officers could be heard as they blew through his webs, “ This town has been waiting on the day one of you mutant scum would finally show your face, make this easy on both yourselves and come out willingly” The officer would go on to say, as more agents moved in. “ As I said before this is bigger than the both of us…” Killgrave would say as he walked past the officers nodding, “ You should kill the girl first, can't risk fighting an Alpha-level mutant.” He would go on saying. Shriek would look around before floating into the air, “ Now would be a good time for an escape, I'll make a way” she would say before looking around. The ground would start to shake as her hands glowed yellow-greenish, ripping a sewer pipe from under the building, launching out the other side and making a hole. Shriek would then drop slamming into the ground sending the men flying, “ This way” Shriek would say as she took out of the church and into the woods.

Spidercide could not help but shake his head as he looked up to. Whether this applied to BOth Peter Parker and his clones or just Joshua himself;f he couldn't help but feel like at times the world was just a bad comic book plot and that the divine were a bunch of writers sitting in some giant office in the sky shooting the bull trying to one up[ each other on how they can mess with the world for the entertainment of themselves and others. if that was true, then sure it'd absolutly suck, but if they could at least be creative with it it'd be one thing but it really seemed like at times it was the same stories being told overn and over again. "Is there like some rule that if our world doesin't hate mutants, then a baby in your world dies? Do we have to keep drawing from this well?" Just as he said that, he heard the sound of more police sirens. "Oh great more boys in blue." Though he was in for a suprise when the new batch of police came out of thier vehicles. "Freeze. Put the gun down, and step away from Spider-Man!" The first set of cops turned and pulled thier guns on the second set of officers. "What are you doing?!? These muties are the enemy not us!" "I said put the gun down and put your hands where I can see them." You're making a mistake!" "I said put the guns down boys." This time there was no response. "I SAID PUT THE GUNS DOWN NOW!" suddenly there was the sound of a metallic CLINK and a rolling sound. "GERNADE! GERNADE!" One of the second policemen shouted. BOOM!!!!!

"My sonic scream didn't hurt you, did it? I get angry when someone's hurting my man..." ----------------------------------------- Shriek levitated off the ground just off in the distance listening, she watched as Spidercide soon joined her asking her a question. “ Nothing is so painful to the human mind as a great and sudden change. The very fact that we are the next stage in their evolution scares them, it causes them to not think clearly sometimes and you end up with people full of hate.” Shriek would respond. Watching the standoff Shriek knew there was nothing she could do to save them, “ There is no going back… Purple Man has them under his control; they will die doing what they're told.” Shriek would go on to say watching the scene unfold. As shots went off an explosion quickly followed, Shriek looked in disbelief at the aftermath of what had just gone down. The screams of those still alive in pain and torment from being burned and impaled. “ We need to go, we can't help them” Shriek would tell Spidercide.
"Feel my will conquering yours! Hear my voice... look at my eyes! Look at me, slave!” ----------------------------------------- Sitting in the back of his truck Zebediah had him a drink as he watched the explosion go off in the distance, “ Well how about that for a show, the stupidity of the X-men is quite hilarious.” He would say to himself before finishing off his drink, Killgrave would pick up his phone before calling one of his associates. “ As I promised the job has been done, I've managed to elude one of the X-men out of hiding. She brought along an unexpected guest. He appeared to be some sort of spider man… though nothing like I had seen around before.” He would say over the phone. Waiting for the reply he would simply say “ Good” before hanging up and pouring himself another drink, looking out the window he would admire the upstate New York scenery thinking about his daughter. She was the one thing that kept him grounded on this planet, yet he knew that she would never want to be seen around him again. “ Take me to the Headquarters. I have something I need to pick up something.”

Joshua couldn't help but mentally facepalm when she answered his question. He wanted to say that the question was not directed at her, but then again he'd look crazy. When she used the phrase "Next step of human evolution," that nearly set him off and gave Shriek a leer that could cut like a Katana. having run around with the X-men to the point of being an unofficial member of the team (much Like Carol Danvers) Peter and by Extension Joshua had heard that phrase plenty of times...and it was never from the legitimate good guys. "Cut it with that next stage of human evolution Ballcap. this isn't just a transhumanist sci-fi novel and you're not Magneto."
He couldn't help but watch the scene unfold the burning the screaming. He heard Shriek Whisper in her how there was nothing they could do and they needed to go. for a split second he thought about taking Shriek's advice, but then he saw a police woman desperately crawl across the floor. Her body had been bisected and her upper body was burning yet somehow, she was still alive, but it didn't take long for him to see why. She was desperately clinging to a locket and he had a pretty good idea as to what was inside of it. This woman was staying alive by sheer will and the refusal to leave her family behind. His whole thing up to this point was learning new ways to use his powers. he already knew how to heal people at a molecular level he had already done it with Shriek's hand...he just needed to kick it up a notch. "No, Maybe I can save them maybe I can't, but I'm not leaving them for dead. You can either help me out or you can get the heck out of dodge, but I'm going back in and I'm helping as many of these people as I can."Without another word Spidercide shot webbing from his wrist onto one of the walls and it slowly began to spread, the first priority was to try to smother as much as the fire as he could to put it out fortunately the "Crawling Web" was doing a good job at that. While the Crawling Web, did it’s work Spidercide’s focus immediately went to the bisected policewoman The fire that had engulfed her was seemingly out, but she was now covered in 3rd and 4th degree burns, she was literally half the woman she used to be, and now...she was on her back…nope he knew what that leaded to. He immediately leapt next to her and crouched beside her. “Hey there, don’t go to sleep on me ok? I’m going to help you out.”
“I-I can’t feel my legs…” Her voice came across as more of a whispering croak. Spidercide looked at the entrails hanging from the open lower half of her body. and then looked at the severed lower half of her body a couple of feet from her. Spidercide pulled the lower half toward him. “Yeah… just don’t think about it. You got a name?” Alex.” She said in a horse whisper. “Well, Hang in their Alex I’m going to get you through this.” He said as he began to reach her separated half, slowly removing and repairing the burt and necrtoic flesh and bone. No matter what had least one girl in blue was coming back home to her family, but still he was overwhelmed. He could here the anguished whimpers of the other policemen from both sides that had been horrifically maimed in the blast. He could split himself into 3 but that would not be enough. he needed help. He needed Shriek even if all she did was call an ambulance and prevented people from dying alone in their last moments. *Come on Shriek please.* he thought to himself. *I could really use your help* though he knew it was not likely to happen.
