So the guy--the guy who kills so many, so often--me he decides not to kill. Me he decides to just put through a window again and again and again. Frank Castle just kinda drives me a little crazy, see? ----------------------------------------- It was 5 minutes before the start of the 1st Annual purge, President Billy Russo would start his speech before the nation. It had been a long road to his victory but with the support of the rich and crooked people and industries, he made his way in, beating the Dems and Republicans as the National Liberation Party won the elections simply by having the most electoral votes. One of his many first moves as president was to disband the Avengers and Ban Vigilantes, he deemed them as a threat to civilization as we know it. With them either hiding underground, dead or locked up he found it easier to get away with things leading right up to where we are now. Two minutes until the Purge, all stations turned to show the president face, " Good evening, my fellow Americans, as you all know I promised to help clean our Souls, return America to the once proud nation we once knew. So come out and Purge release your inner Demon on someone, so that you may feel brand new inside! God Bless You! And God Bless These United States of America the greatest nation on earth." After he spoke the Tvs went Blue before the purge siren went off across the city and the announcement started. " This is not a test. This is your emergency broadcast system announcing the commencement of the Annual Purge sanctioned by the U.S. Government. Weapons of class 4 and lower have been authorized for use during the Purge. All other weapons are restricted. Government officials of Hammer Level 8 and above have been granted immunity from the Purge and shall not be harmed. Commencing at the siren, any and all crime, including murder and Vigilantes will be legal for 12 continuous hours. Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services will be unavailable until tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. when the Purge concludes. Blessed be our Savior Jigsaw, for remaking our nation great again. May God be with you all." As jigsaw got up from his seat he walked down the hallways of the white house into the Back lawn where his helicopter was waiting, Jigsaw had every intention of participating in the purge as he wanted to kill off more heroes. " Get me to New York asap, I have word that The Merc is there. And load up the death squads I need at least a quarter of the Poorer population dead in New York by 7 am"

Deadpool "This world don't take kindly to the Spider-Man types right now... SO... I guess that leaves me with the Punisher route." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Wade T. Wilson has been in this game a long time. Like... A long time... Like... A REALLY long time. He's killed a lot of people... Good and bad. He's seen a lot of people die... Good and bad. Sure, that was probably a given, but it felt good to monologue. Deadpool remained one of the few "heroes" to survive the vigilante removal. Mostly because he just can't die. He had to take to an armored suit so he could do what he does. Killing, that is. Now, though. It wasn't for money. Well, that's a lie. There was still money given to him, but that's not why he did it. He did it because he was good man at heart... Well, that's a lie. He just knows that the rest of his friends that are still alive are going to die if he doesn't do this one right thing. Well... Yeah, killing the bad guys. That's a good thing. Sure, we'll roll with it. Currently? Deadpool was on top of a building that had another building looming over it with a dark shadow. New York had turned into Gotham City. No lights, no camera, but a whole lotta action. No one was safe anymore. It was all that Jigsaw guy's fault. Like who in the hell even is Jigsaw? I'll tell you who, not prominent! A waste of time! Someone who somehow singlehandedly hijacked a nation. He would look down at the thugs that were harrassing some old lady. Why old women? He wasn't sure. For the plot, he assumed. "Fluffy Unicorn, this is Manly Man looking for a status confirmation, over." He would say into the headset he had hidden inside his mask.

As it can be shown, there are many things wrong with this universe. For one, a psychopath like Jigsaw came into power. Why or how are questions that may never be answered. But what can be said is that things are definitely quite different here. For one, our fair hero never became a hero at all. He obtained the powers, but never the push to become Brooklyn's own Kid Arachnid. For his grandfather never died, at least, not by a shooting. He instead lived out his entire, somehow dying peacefully, despite this annual "purges". But while his life ended in peace, the rest of his family wouldn't have the same luck. They'd have to make do surviving with their own wit and determination. Of course, the Morales' family wouldn't know that the youngest of them did indeed possess amazing powers to aid in their protection. For all they know, Miles just happened to be quite skilled at athletics, while being a gifted art student. He had some doors for his future opened to him before obtained his powers, but now with them, he decided to try and open a few more. He never previously thought about participating in sports. Always seemed inclined towards the arts. But he didn't see much of a future as some art major. Maybe he could make it big as an athlete? Sure, it wasn't fair for a kid like him to be abusing his powers like this, but it's not like he's hurting anyone. He's exploiting an opportunity, and doesn't have to be a super-villain to do it. In fact, part of him wondered why many of these super folks don't try the same exact thing. Whatever the case, he just had to survive tonight. And make sure his family did the same. There would be some luck in that his father would get his family to a secure warehouse, guarded by loyal cops on the force. The boys and girls in blue were practically family in a sense. Loyal to a fault. Hence, they all got together and got their loved ones in the same place, ready to stand guard at a moment's notice, even if they weren't on duty. This is our scene, as Jefferson approaches his family after having a talk with one of the officers. "Well, it's just like last time. We'll have to hunker down for the night till this whole thing blows over.""Oh dios mio, it's still really hard to believe this is all legal. I-I don't want to see all the dead bodies when I get back to work tomorrow.""I know exactly how you feel."Miles decides to interject, not wanting his parents to feel all down. "Mom, Dad, you're bumming me out here. We'll be fine, like always. Besides, we got like-"He'd turn to see some board games the officers' and their families had brought with them on the self. But there was only one game left on there. "-Monopoly...""Boy, how'd you know I loved that game. Let's go play. It'll sure be a time killer."Miles, with slight dread at the boredom stated, "Oh...yay..."With the family playing monopoly, Miles would start pondering about his friends: Ganke, Barbara, Judge. He hoped they'd all be alright once this day was up. He still remembered Kate being missing after one this "Purges". He really didn't want the same fate to come to the rest of his friends. Of course, he couldn't keep on focusing on such things. He needed to play the game, and just hope their focus on such a trivial matter would drown out all the gunfire outside.
