Friends of Humanity
The friends of Humanity are less of a militaristic force than most and though they have taken direct action at times, they prefer to use their considerable influence to fight politically against Mutant Rights.
Leaders: Graydon Creed: Deceased. Son of Victor Creed (Sabretooth) and Raven Darkholme (Mystique). Human.
Status: Defunct
Offshoots: Church of Humanity, Humanity's Last Stand
Sapien League
Anti-Mutant terrorists. A force of low tech humans that target mutants purely for destruction instead of any statement.
Leaders: Leper Queen: Alive. Mother of a mutant who, at the age of two, set fire to their home, killing herself and disfiguring the Leper Queen. Human.
Status: Formed, little to no activity
Equipment: Private jets, jeeps, guns, knives, grenades, bombs.
The Right
Technologically advanced paramilitary group that seeks the eradication or subjugation of mutants. Their goals are usually less straight forward than simply killing mutants, instead seeking to control them and force them to prove what a danger they are to humanity.
Leaders: Cameron Hodge: Deceased (Sort of). Former college roommate of Warren Worthington III. Cyborg with immortal head.
Status: Appears Defunct
Equipment: Smiley-Face Battlesuits.
Purifiers
Religious anti-mutant paramilitary. Using Christianity as an excuse and tool, the Purifiers seek to remove 'Satan's Children' from the earth using direct action. They rely on numbers and aggressive force primarily but have been known to attempt to capture and weaponize powerful mutants against their own kind. Purifiers are noted as having people in every level of government and likely organizations like SHIELD as well.
Leaders: William Stryker: Incarcerated. Former army sergeant turned televangelist preacher after killing his family because his child was born a mutant. Human.
Status: Active
Equipment: Vibranium based weapons, exoskeletons, gunships, tanks, and energy weapons.
Reavers
The Reavers are a private, primarily cyborg, military created and funded by the Hellfire Club. While not strictly anti-mutant, the biases of their leaders often put them in direct confrontation with mutants.
Leaders: Donald Pierce: Missing. Taking various high-ranking positions in the Hellfire Club over the years, Donald Pierce is a human who very much hates mutants. Cyborg.
Lady Deathstrike: Active. A woman with a vendetta against Wolverine. Among the first batch of Reavers. Cyborg.
Status: Active
Equipment: Each Reaver is a cyborg built with their own arsenal ranging from the conventional to energy weapons.
Government Sponsored Groups
Weapon Plus Project: Not strictly anti-mutant, the Weapon Plus Project is known for targeting mutants specifically for experimentation to turn them into biological weapons. Under Sublime, many of the Weapon Plus Projects took a more anti-mutant bent. Defunct.
Project: Wideawake: A government task force formed to combat the 'mutant threat', they were responsible for the longest running sentinel project in history, bankrolled by Sebastian Shaw. Defunct.
Project Armageddon: Similar to and the precursor to Project: Wideawake, Armageddon was led by Steven Lang who created one of the most formidable version of Sentinels, the Mark III. Defunct.
Post-CW Organizations
Orchis: Newest in-comic anti-mutant group. Likely best to avoid for now as little has been done with them in the comics.
Human Council: Led by Bastion, the Human Council is made up of the various leaders of the above groups and more. Using the T.O. Virus from the Technarchy, Bastion has resurrected the dead leaders and put them and the living ones under his control. As Bastion has been brought to the site before, this might be a fun thing to start up to help streamline anti-mutant organizations under one long running concept and a plot that can be worked out between multiple 'leaders' instead of everyone just picking up someone and doing what they want. (Xavier's attack again?!)
