RaftAh, the Raft Supermax Prison. The island labyrinth that super-powered individuals seem to escape almost every week. Though break outs this year seem to be dwindling at an alarming rate. Well, alarming for the folks locked up inside. Whether it was due to security protocols being amped up, or if the villains just felt lazier and lazier after each subsequent breakout, no one was seeing the light of day for a while. That goes double for Aleksei, as his special benefactor (The Leader) had seemingly dropped off the map. He was typically the one who disabled the inhibitor collar for the Rhino, and set up his escape repeatedly over and over. This was even despite the added security measures. Sterns almost found it to be a game to see how he could overcome the firewalls to break into their security, all to open the right doors to let Sytsevich out. He showed great loyalty to his dear employee, and it helped he made sure that only Aleksei esccaped. The public didn't seem to fear the Rhino as much as the other patrons of the prison. But with The Leader seemingly missing, the Rhino was now stuck in the prison almost indefinitely. With the large man walking without his armoured suit, he'd seemingly wait in the long lunch line for his pile of slop. The inhibitor collar placed upon all the prisoners prevented their use of their powers. Essentially, even if they did cause a riot, it'd be no worse than the typical prison riot you'd see in lesser prisons. The Rhino was no longer the Rhino. At this point, he may as well be a jail bird, though that name would be more appropriate for Toomes if that man ever got locked up again. Sigh, I suppose I chose this fate long ago. And I can't even blame it on the cursed Spider.

"A Malicious Fever burns..In our hearts, in our veins. Your blood, my blood- All blood runs the same."
“So hard to think, to be.” The inmate that was known as Typhoid Mary thought, or rather said in muddled slur. In reality, she wasn’t sure which anymore or the distinction between them. The treatment was amazingly adept at addling the mind to say the least. It was born from the idea of suppressing her Typhoid personality and weakening her to allow Mary to retain managed control and thus- be less harmful to those around her. If this held and remained, then certainly over time and psychological council Mary Walker could perhaps have a semblance of a normal, if somewhat pedestrian life- a cure.
That was the idea, in reality as far as she could reason she was still Typhoid. She knew the impulses that drove her were still there- slamming against the padded walls of her mind and screaming in rage to get out. Somehow the screws had trapped her in her own flesh and blood prison within a prison. Passing the reflected glass of the guards station in the mell hall. She paused to look at herself commenting “Mary Mary quite contrary,” she felt she had seen better days, if she were being honest. The reflection however did not agree or disagree she noticed, only answered back.
Her gaze seemed dulled with paler skin and dark circles around her eyes. Maybe Matthew the merry Christian would think she was pretty, they could even go to Mass- she wouldn’t even bring a machete for confession- this time. She lingered staring harder wondering if her reflection would say more, trying to pull herself together. The effort was lost when a nightstick rap on the glass she stared at made the thought fly away and she moved on.
Outwardly to say she seemed lethargic was a grand understatement. She acted doped to the point it was hard to focus on anything let alone have a shot of getting in anyone else’s head and move things around. She was in a word, harmless outwardly an agreeable half asleep zombie. Like this she was certainly easy to control the doctors had found. over time allowed more and more into General populace settings to test not only the drug but her ability to function overall, perhaps at long last with dosing for thew rest of her days Mary Walker could be cured.
She too stood in line, only to be rewarded with crap she wouldn’t have eaten during her street walking-lean days. The wet splat brought her back somewhat as she slowly turned to go. The eyes momentarily brightened as she spied the big man and tracked after him to join him where he sat. Moments after he did she moved opposite him dropping her tray a little too soon above the table, then finally sitting, staring at him excruciatingly moments after registering the clatter of the tray.
“Good Morning,” The pleasantry that came out of the haunted looking redhead was sing song creepy in how perfect and pleasant it sounded even if she did not smile, and there was no light in her eyes. “I’m Mary, did you know you remind me of Mr. Fisk.” She intoned in a slow if false chipper tone that made the name sounds like “Merry” as her head tilted to hold his gaze, like she used to- when she could move peoples minds, especially men.

Carnage "In my experience I've found it isn't the 'alone' part people are scared of... It's the dying part." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Listen, c'mon man. I don't know anything about that, I've been over here just like you told me." The sniveling man named Jester would say, cowering away at any sudden movement Cletus made, "I'm sure it was literally anyone else but me.""That don't help me understand who in the blazin' hell took my BEANS." He'd slam his hand down onto the table, knocking the man's water on top of the entirety of his food. Jester would look at his plate before sighing in resignation. "I'll take whatever torture you give me for this, but... I'm gonna go back to the cell now. See you there, when you're done throwing your fit."The broken man would stand up, and look at where his fingernails used to be. Eventually, he'd skulk away to their cell, leaving Cletus with no beans. Still. "WHERE THE HELL ARE MY BEANS?[!" He'd shout in frustration. AppTrackerVoice Example

The Raft was also known for being the type of prison to not follow the typical legal requirements most other prisons have in regards to human rights. The prisoners that were locked up in here after all weren't really considered human. Hence, why the staff here had no problem mixing up the gender groups within public areas like the mess hall. Sure, they were far stricter when escorting prisoners to the bathrooms, and made sure to separate the genders in regards to the holding areas. But here, it seemed they had no issues combining the two groups together. Which is what lead to this conversation between this red-headed woman and Aleksei. Sytsevich would have simply taken the lunch from the custodian and sat at the table to eat his slop. There was an occasional prisoner that would try to sit at his table, mainly to make friends so that they would have someone to defend them from the horrors that resided in this prison. However, Sytsevich wasn't used to a woman coming up to him. He imagined he looked far too intimidating to most of the female residents here. Nonetheless, she would attempt to give conversation to the man, as she sat opposite from Sytsevich. Most prisoners probably would have found the woman quite attractive. Aleksei could see that of course, but he also saw a look of addled confusion upon her face, along with some exhaustion. The guards and doctors here might have her on something, though Aleksei wasn't aware of what. Perhaps she was similar to another patient here, who had some special treatment in regards to his own manic episodes. Though if Cletus was given any medicine, it was apparent to everyone that they didn't seem to work. Ignoring that nuisance, he'd attempt to try and talk to the woman after she compared him to Wilson Fisk. He wasn't sure if the wiser move was to ignore her, but he also didn't see the harm in trying to talk back. "I would be careful mentioning his name. He has many loyal men here still under his employ. They don't seem to like his name being uttered at random."There would be a bit of an awkward silence that Aleksei was unsure of how to fill. So, instead he'd ask her a question. "Is there a reason you are sitting here? Did Gargan send you here to pull a prank on me!? Is that it!?""He despised Scorpion, despite having to work with the bastard several times in the past. Perhaps it was because he reminded him of the Spider. Or perhaps he just hated the man's attitude. Regardless, if this woman was sent in some type of jest for Mac's amusement, Aleksei was gonna show him what it meant to mess with the Rhino.

"A Malicious Fever burns..In our hearts, in our veins. Your blood, my blood- All blood runs the same."
“Oh,” she said simply in the same impossibly idyllic tone that began the conversation. her gaze drawn to his as the larger man spoke. She took her time to lay out her plastic utensils motor skills were definitely addled which agreed with his assessment of her being definitely on a "Program" of some sort. The beautiful if rather distant doll like eyes remained on his after taking the time to be sure the spork was pointed up at Aleksei. For a moment she radiated a smile of sheer triumph before it too sank in the haze of her chemical "adjustments" regimen. “Oh, I came because Mary told me it's part of the plan that she's thinking about but I can't --."
She paused, frustration registered before it too was wiped away- this time due to the tirade about beans. Her plate was plenty in beans, in fact all her food was plentiful- more than standard sizing thanks to her Doctor. However but all she seemed to want was the sugar.
Looking back the way both had come to the reflective panel of the guard booth she leaned forward, barely audible but still lifeless in posture- "Mary also said to tell you," She paused silently mouthing the words leaving dead air between them. It was important to set them in her head --just as they were told to her before offering them to another. “Loyalty and Love is important don’t you think? That if others betray and abandon us, we must do it.. to be free."
The last part was off, that was not what Dr. Anders wanted her to focus on at all, but he did say that before he fell in love with her. It really wasn't her fault he did ask how it worked so she only did what he said.

Carnage "In my experience I've found it isn't the 'alone' part people are scared of... It's the dying part." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cletus began parading around, hunched over like a madman. Even though he wasn't in his lovely symbiote, he was still creeping around as if he were in it. He'd look at every single tray, threatening a few with brutal deaths. Many of the people flinched, some just closed their eyes and hoped for him to go away. If one thing was for certain, it was that Cletus was terrifying. With or without Carnage. He'd be finishing up his rounds when he spotted it. The tray with an immense amount of beans. He didn't know who the lady was, but he knew who the big guy was. That was Rhino. Weird seeing him without his extinct animal wrapped around his body. Nonetheless, he would storm up to the table and slam his fist on it. "Why the hell do you have more beans than everyone else??? Furthermore, why the hell do I not have as many beans as I'm supposed to on my tray??? It seems to me, like someone's gotten ahold of ol' Cletus' beans... I don't gotta tell you what happens to people who steal from me, you've probably seen what I've done to that poor boy in my cell. So I'll just be liberatin' you of them there beans." He'd say, reaching out to take the tray entirely. AppTrackerVoice Example[/quote]

"Ehh, I see?" Aleksei would realize that Gargan definitely wasn't the one that sent her. Instead, he'd see that she was most likely off whatever medications she was prescribed by the doctors. At least, that's what he'd assume. He had no idea how deep her psychosis really went. He'd nod here and there, pretending to comprehend her words. But to him, it sounded like the babbling of a madwoman. He wasn't sure if he should just move tables and leave the woman alone. Perhaps that would just irritate her even more. Whatever the case, he'd soon learn that it wasn't opposite that attract, but likeminded individuals. Especially as Kassidy would walk towards their table with an irritated expression on his face. Sytsevich always made it a point to avoid nutjobs like him. Sure, both had grievances and grudges against the Wall-crawler, but that was about the only similarity the two really shared. Something like that wouldn't really make the two friends or allies in any sort of way, especially given how insane Cletus happens to be. But, he did find it rude to steal a woman's food. That was just against basic etiquette. Hence, Aleksei would reach out to grab his arm. "Back off Kassidy. You already have food on your tray."Intentionally or not, if Aleksei did successfully grab Cletus' arm, he'd accidentally shove the psychopath away. Though thanks to the collar, his superhuman strength wouldn't be pushing the inmate yards away. At most, he may pushed him onto the floor if anything. Though, there was a good chance this could cause a fight, so Aleksei better prepare himself.

"A Malicious Fever burns..In our hearts, in our veins. Your blood, my blood- All blood runs the same."
The would be mountain; when he spoke was it the tone, the tenor that made her wince? Was it dismissive? It certainly couldn’t be dismissive, not after she had been told to come sit with him. His discomfort or seeming such with her worked its way past the haze of the treatments.
She stared at him with half closed eyes processing the signals she got off him. The tone did strike a chord she decided finally. It sounded like the end of the ride when John would be done with a girl of the moment. She heard it before, too many times really form them and it stung. “We are trying to tell him something, focus twit, and if that skinny twig lips again eat his face.…” The wincing command echoed from deep within her mind. The Doctor had done good work, if she held on Typhoid couldn't get out and only she would have to listen to her slamming into the cage of her mind.
That, certainly wasn't what the Doctors, or indeed Mary wanted to do. But in some moments, like now it was hard to resist, she was a fish out of water with this place, but Typhoid loved it. The savagery of Cletus, the confrontational nature was more Typhoid's element. It made her blood run, her pulse spike and an ever so slight variance of warmth in her now pinker, flushed skin. The Collar held her abilities in check, the drug addled the mind but deep within, the real dangerous part lay semi awake- drawn by the noise, the possibility of bloodshed and of course, teaching a very bad boy his place...
“Those are HERS,” It was still soft, gentle almost meek, but the eyes were becoming anything but- almost elated. She was trying to warn him, before Typhoid for joy alone would make her- well eat his face.
Maybe if she did as she was told Typhoid roll roll back over and sleep while she was punished for what they did this time again. It was the way, Typhoid did as she pleased and left Mary to mop up the mess and take punishment.
Still, maybe it wouldn’t taste like anything at all if she had to do what she was told and people in this hole would leave her alone. She didn’t want to of course, he’d be angry and Typhoid slept a lot these days- leaving her alone in this place open to retaliation.
Switch “Thanks baby,” She offered with a lifting tone, warmer and stronger as the violence seemed to be arriving and the mountain made a move on skinny. “Some people can’t handle the crazy inside them.” She beamed beauteously up at the mountain her tone more lucid, more assertive. her eyes brighter, she felt delightfully warmer than she had felt in months... years?

Carnage "In my experience I've found it isn't the 'alone' part people are scared of... It's the dying part." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cletus watched her reaction with glee before he was pulled back by a big mit. He'd look up at the man, realizing it was Rhino. He'd cackle a bit before standing tall once again. The thing about the Rhino was that he only LOOKED imposing. The guy had a heart of gold, at least in comparison to Cletus'. Here was a perfect example, protecting someone when he had no business being a part of the altercation... Some Spider-Man behaviors, if you were to ask Cletus. "Well well well, if it ain't the big bad Rhino... Ya know, I've always wondered what it'd be like to pulverize you inside of the extinct animal of yours." He'd get a bit closer, "Now, the problem isn't the fact that I have food on my tray. The PROBLEM, is that I don't have enough beans. When SHE has more than me. Not to mention the fact that the extra amount that she has looks to be about the EXACT amount that I'm missing offa my plate." AppTrackerVoice Example

RaftAs he attempted to shove Kasady away, the woman who decided to speak to him earlier would talk in quite a different tone than from before. It was as if she was another person entirely. Aleksei would practically have a double-take while looking back at Mary. "You're...welcome?" His Russian accent wouldn't hide the bewilderment within his voice. She had looked tired and manic before, but now...now she looked livelier, healthier. The woman had an attractive appearance some seconds before, but yet looked ragged and exhausted as well. Now, she looked like the most attractive person here. Which, you could argue didn't say much given where they were, but Aleksei himself had to admit she was even prettier than some of his exes. Nonetheless, he had bigger problems to worry about. Particularly Cletus Kasady, who was still obsessing over his pointless beans. "No one cares Kasady. If you want to keep eating whatever beans you have left, I recommend you don't push this further before I remove whatever teeth you have left to chew."

"A Malicious Fever burns..In our hearts, in our veins. Your blood, my blood- All blood runs the same."
There were feelings, dissonances of self and being that Mary Walker had always known, a disconnection and loss of time and place that had grown only stronger and more violent since Daredevil, had put her out on the street, no, literally from an upper floor window, that was daredevils love. Never, however, had it felt like this, perhaps it had been so long, so long addled with medicinal cures, or perhaps- finally Mary Walker was losing ground trapped in this place, no confessions, no forgiveness certainly no heroic devils only purgatories.
Either way, this time, this switch was joy, this was near sensual, passionate release in bliss. Kasady, the skinny warmly looking one had pushed so hard, so aggressively and triggered poor little Mary, so eager to run and hide int he dark place without a Devil to save her, the medication oh so lovely carefully measured for her metabolism just shrugged and burn itself alive in the fire that was me, Typhoid. As the poor little thing let go of the wheel easy as pie to slide in- I mean hells bells someone had to drive before worm boy tried to earth our face for his damn beans.
She blinked with a wider smile and skin flushed like a woman impassioned, warm to the touch almost glistening in allure as Aleksei not only white knighted her, but had manners- well hell, The Devil was clearly not the end all be all of things. “You should listen to Rhino sugar pop, he can do it and you know he can- with the right cause and the right help he could do so many nasty things to you. You want to eat their slop like a good little boy, do it."
"Me, I would think some allies are worth more than some pigswill. ” Her tone was smooth now, it had a way with men, Lord knows I did with hell’s kitchens broken angel, truth be told Rhino was a keeper, Skinny here might need a little nudging to calm the hell down before he hit solitary so that is what she tried, a little to not arouse suspicion. “You need us, we want you.. See how helpful that is baby? ” It may not work at all really, she hadn’t the time to study the man, and the after effects could still be locking her down tight..
She wanted out, no more sleeps no more drugs and for hells sake no more Mary Walker.

He knew he couldn't beat the man the way he was right now. He would point a finger at the man with a sinister face. "You'll pay for that when we get out of here. I look forward to ripping that horn off your stupid face." He'd say giddily, "But table that for now, flatscan."His head would turn back to Mary with a wicked grin. The man looked as demented as he did when he had the symbiote. It was clear to anyone around that dealing with Cletus was dealing with a completely different dangerous monster. "I've got to a agree with you deary, but we ain't much equipped to go anywhere. So what are you proposing? Big man throws me out of a window and I one man army the guards?" AppTrackerVoice Example

RaftSytsevich hadn't realized what he had just gotten himself involved in. Typically, he was just hired muscle that wouldn't dare stick his neck out for other people under normal circumstances. But with an issue like this up front and literally in his face, it'd be impossible for him to ignore. Especially when it involved a woman. He apparently had a soft spot for women being victimized. Never a fan of men who felt that they could bully a woman. Perhaps it was his old fashioned values brought to the forefront here, but he had no problems involving himself in the squabbles of a psychopath if it meant ensuring the safety of this woman. Though I suppose her being conventionally attractive added to his motives on such an action. For now though, he'd deal with Cletus attempting to make threats towards Aleksei, off the assumption that either men would find their way out of prison one day. "Heh, I don't need my suit to break you Kasady. Perhaps you are too afraid to face me here and now without your own costume to aid you?" A smirk would appear on the Russian man's face. He was feeling a bit rusty, not having an arachnid to face. Perhaps this has-been of a serial killer will do? Cletus would then speak to Mary directly, as if the woman had been trying to appeal to both of them to have as new allies for the future. Of course, Kasady would make a suggestion about a plan of a breakout, but Sytsevich knew better. They'd need an outside man, a proper mastermind to fully break through the security regulations of the prison. "As fun as it would be throw you out that window, our powers are cut-off. We won't be able to fight anyone, let alone return to our cells alive. Chego yeshche ty zhdesh' ot ublyudka."He'd mutter something in Russian at the end here, mainly in reference to Cletus. He didn't want to be involved with this mad man in any way, shape, or form. It would only mean more bad news. Too bad the trio were attracting even more attention. Particularly from the guards. They'd walk over to their table armed with stun-rods and specialized pistols to put them to sleep. There were even men behind them that had pistols with live ammo, specifically tempered to their fingerprints so that none of the inmates could take and use these pistols themselves if they did take them off the guards' body. "Now, what seems to be the problem here gentleman? Don't tell me you're trying to cause some kind of scene for the woman here? That's just bad manners."" He'd give a smile towards the woman of the group, giving her a quick up and down glance towards her out of some strange perversion. If these people here were anyone else, perhaps fear would appear in their eyes. But instead, at least in Aleksei's case, it was simply either indifference or annoyance. Aleksei would practically growl at the appearance of the guards. They had made their appearance more and more around his cell, particularly because of the many breakouts he had done in the past due to his benefactor. Now that the Leader seemed to be missing, he didn't have as much luck. Still, these guards tend to make his life a living hell from time to time with his powers shut off, especially with some private beating in his cell from time to time. "What's wrong Rhino? Cat got your tongue big man?" "Tch."As much as he'd want to strike him down, it would do him no good. Not if he wanted to make it through the Raft in one piece.

"A Malicious Fever burns..In our hearts, in our veins. Your blood, my blood- All blood runs the same."
She’d watched the two men, their altercation building to a fever pitch, it was..intoxicating, bordering sensual all that aggression flying around, man at his most primordial. Leave it to pure and sweet Mary Walker to duck out before it got fun, probably lamenting, yet again she didn’t belong here as she clutched an imagined rosary something equally “Devil” inspired. Let her rot in the inner dark place, like it or not Matthew hated her and that kept her forever reeling in the role of martyr.
She read the room, Sytsevich seemed just perfect, and his disdain for Kassidy meant he was likely out, she’d back the big man. There was something, honor? A code? Something that she caught a whiff off him, whereas the other, probably better suited to Bloody Mary’s tastes, weird face too.
As the guards neared, and their guards after them it was a simply calculation for win or loss. Yes, she was low tide on her dosage and the adrenaline Skinny instilled in poor Mary had flipped her, but she was far from game time ready. Maybe if big boy had a plan or a move possibly. But if he was playing it “Trustee” obedient she’d follow along, and alter everything right down to body language, cops were suckers after all. It was far easier for Typhoid to play Mary Walker than the reverse, just, in Typhoids mind..be pathetic, like the guard feel all Captain America...for now..
She leaned a bit more forward, let the hair frame her face as she reached up and twisted a lock of it in her fingertips. “Hello,” she said simply, eyes moving from guard to guard. She flicked a smile to him, wide warm and damsel laden with a hint of medicinal high. “I think he did not get enough beans, I don’t think Im allowed to give him mine.. perhaps if he got more beans he wouldn't be so angry, so threatening?” She offered, no doubt they had seen her in a semi stupor, seen Mary Walker, so that’s the role she played for now, hell of a performance giving what she wanted to do.
She wanted to keep Rhino golden, but given the interested looks from the guards saying anything to praise him might make that difficult. “We were just eating, he came…demanded, took..” She looked to the side, it was a pretty spot on fragmented performance, let the damsel and victimized demeanor ram this baby right home to Mr. Police Hero, she'd have to remember his face. Looking up over at Sytsevich with an apprising look, trying to read the man deeper. Could there be a guy in this hole with more honor and dignity than freaking Daredevil?

Carnage "In my experience I've found it isn't the 'alone' part people are scared of... It's the dying part." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The man would look between the two with a tilted head that resembled that of a curious dog, he wasn't sure what her game was but he was starting to be cautious of it. He'd take a long, hard look at the guards and then a replicate look to his new acquaintances. Well, if there was anything that Cletus liked, it was unnecessary violence and hatred. Moving to the side of Rhino and Mary, he'd give a sadistic grin to the guards and speak in a chilling voice. "Well, I was directing my anger in an unhealthy way, friends... I should ACTUALLY be mad at the lunch staff, since they're the ones who undersold me on the beans. The lunch staff would happen to be you two... So I've got to ask, what made you leave ol' Cletus in the dust on his beans???" AppTrackerVoice Example
