JACK LASTMAN
The despicable villain who kicks you while you're down.
The despicable villain who kicks you while you're down.
Even the despicable villain who kicks you while you're down needs a vacation sometimes. And after all the things that had been going on with the X-Men and H.A.M.M.E.R., he sure as hell needed one. Especially after Ethan decided to get in his way and publicly humiliate him.
Today, he was at Jones Beach. Trailing behind him were his two younger siblings, Vanessica and Nicolai. Two Nicolai, to be exact; one to carry their cooler, and another to carry a boombox. The latter was especially important, as they were walking towards a group of party-goers.
"Beach party! WHOOO!" Jack called out to them.
No response. The people were way too busy dancing on the starry sands, listening to a speaker connected to someone's iPhone. So to get their attention, Jack let the blade of a sword seep through his hand and stab the tech as hard as it could.
This was immediately met with angry yells and screams from the audience. Harsh words, anti-mutant slurs and threats of violence were shared.
"What the hell, man?!" yelled a man.
"My phone!" bellowed a woman, despaired.
"It's another mutie, come to ruin the fun."
Jack retracted his blade, then spawned a microphone. He pressed it to his face and called out to the beach residents. "People of Jones Beach! I bring you music, some that's better than your Billie Eilish emo #@!X."
"Hey, how about you *#@! off!"
The people yelled in agreement with the man. Looks like none of them were siding with Jack on this one. In fact, they looked just about ready to tear off his head.
Jack gave them an exaggerated frown. "You're hurting my feelings, guys! And I tend to hurt people when they hurt me."
"He's bluffing!" called out one of the Nicos. "Kick his ass!"
"Yeah, kick his ass!" the other agreed.
"Oh my God, I regret mom giving birth to you," Jack hissed to his brother(s.) He pinched the bridge of his nose.
This time, Vanessica had something to say. The girl, in her late teens, grabbed the boombox, pushed her brothers aside and stood in front of the crowd. Unlike her older brother, who greeted the audience with sneers and insincere expressions, she flashed them a warm, genuine smile.
"We wanted to share some sweet jams me and my brothers made!" the girl exclaimed.
"Bu-"
"It's a cool summer song, like a hybrid of rap, pop and electro. Like the beat is pretty House and electro, while the lyrics are kind of like rap, but singing-rap, you know? Like it's definitely more rap, but soft rap. And it feels like a pop song, because it kind of is. You'll love it, trust me."
"Hell n-"
"It's a catchy, brutal diss track against this jerk my brother works with. See, Nico sand the lyrics and did back-up vocals, I composed, and me and my brother helped write the lyrics. Music is kind of a passion of mine, so I'd love for you guys to hear it and give me feedback? As I said, it's catchy and brutal, you'll love it. Trust me."
Some people stopped their calls in curiosity of this song. The ones that didn't were soon silenced, as Vanessica turned on the music and lifted the boombox over her head."Yo, this song goes out to my friend, Ethan D'Aristotle! Maybe this song will inspire you to get a haircut for that bowl on your head!"
That part was Jack's voice. And while that part was met with confusion and anger from the audience, the beautiful voice of Nico would soon quell their worries:"When I need someone
I'm all alone
I call your name
But you're not home
Were you ever there? When I'm right here?
I asked for help
But I
don't
see you
anywhere!
But then I caught some smiles my way
She said she wants me to stay
She said that it's okay
'cause she loves me
She loves me
I wanna lose my way..."
The beat was pretty good, the music was nice. But the instrumental beeps, boops and ethereal sounds brought everyone to dance. While the lyrics took a short break, everyone let their shoulders roll and hips away.
But finally, the next few verses sprung to life, going from a sombre tone to a more lively rap"Me and her, with a bottle o' wine
That's me n' Adeline
She's so fine
Slammed her and worked overtime
Now my heart aches
Now my body quakes
She said I was her best
I made her legs shake!"
Alright, alright. This was kind of a bop, many of them would have to agree. The rest of the song was just as catchy, and everyone was happy to dance along. Even the girl who lost her phone, and was still quite miffed about it, admitted that Midas Don't Touch was the hit song of the summer."They say a man can't satisfy
I ask her why?
She said he's small!
While I stand tall!
And he can't stand at all!
They say that marriage is sacred
If that's true, why she nekked?
A sign it was time, a rhyme, and a crime
She was fine, out line, and calling for me
Cause being with me, she's getting well-fed and
She's down on her knees
And giving me head and-
By the next day, the song would find its way on the airwaves."Feed me that meat, my stomach is hardy.
This is the #EthanIsOverParty"
The traitor and back-stabber you all know and love!
