The Cube within the N-Zone/Negative ZoneA mysterious gigantic cube floated within a strange space that seemed oddly divided, with red glow seemingly stopping at a dividing point as its lighting clashed with that of another. As if light had respectively stopped at this strange "divide" within space. A divide between the N-Zone and the Negative Zone. And in between it all was this strange cube that camouflaged behind this befuddling phenomena of light. Entering inside of this cube would be a life-like model of New York City. Except the locales would shift and change over time, as the denizens standing within the city would be frozen in time. Only one figure would be moving, breathing, living. That figure would wear a strange helmet, and an unstable molecule suit. The only vestige of who he used to be is his voice, as he spoke to the onboard computer that helped run the show inside of this strange Cube. "Computer, showcase Genosha, Earth 616-MHR."<"Generating Genosha. A country dedicated as the last remaining refuge for a species of human identified as homo-"-Yes homo-superior. And they too are a subjugated lot, just like before. Seems there is a commonality amongst our universes. Though in this case, these mutants aren't descendants of those experimented upon in the 1900s, yes?"<"Correct Dr. Richards.">A grimace would form underneath the man with the strange helmet. He didn't have time to correct the computer's nomenclature, particularly for himself. "Computer, I prefer to be called the Maker from now on, whenever you need to address."<"Yes...Maker.">The man who had called himself the Maker would now walk through the city known as Genosha, taking in the unique architecture that had made up the city. The strange vines and unique energy lines that flowed through did intrigue the Maker. Though he felt some of the design could be reworked to allow for more efficient energy consumption. But he assumed that the architect of this city had it all working as a sort of "organism" working off his own hivemind. Not too different from how this Cube functions in accordance to the Maker. "Who is the architect of this city?"The computer would focus in on a tower, and then zoom in to the higher parts of the building. There, it would focus in on a strange looking man standing upon a balcony that lets him look over the city upon his high tower. Before the computer could even speak, the Maker would simply fill in the blanks out loud. Mainly so he could organize his thoughts out verbatim. "Ah Nathanniel Essex. A former bioengineer for Oscorp that turned mad after one of his own experiments. Is his background the same here? He does look a bit older than the one from my universe."<"No, this version of Nathanniel Essex was a geneticist from the 19th century, whose DNA was altered by Celestial cybernetics to live for centuries on end. It is unclear how old this particular variant has come to be. He has come to spend his time experimenting upon the X-gene and explore all of its latent potential.">"Heh, at least he is far more productive than the one from my world. Though I assume his experiments involve plenty of death nonetheless. He isn't one to shy from human experimentation, is he?"<"In accordance to the databases upon this Earth's many law enforcement agencies, no, he has no such qualms.">"Good. Give me a crash course upon the mutants of this reality. I need to see what kind of potential our dear Mr. Sinister seems to see in these so called mutants."Holographic projections of videos and articles would show up in front of Richards. The videos would be speed up to about triple the speed, while the articles would be browsed through at a remarkably fast rate. The man would seemingly process all of the relevant information within a rapid pace. Within an hour, he would soon learn everything he'd need to learn about mutant kind within this new universe. At least, enough to hopefully come to this Mr. Sinister with an interesting offer. "Computer, take me to the lab. Section M104. And formulate a drive for all the files we have on Mothervine."<"Will do sir.">The Maker would walk through this strange portal that would take inside of a lab modelled after one within the Baxter Building of his old world. There he'd walk towards a vault and work with a unique holographic rubix-cube like lock to open the small gate to this vault. There, he'd pull out a small test tube with light green liquid inside. Taking it out, he'd look around at the rest of his surrounding within this life-like projection of his lab. He'd particularly look at a blonde woman, one he'd recognize as Susan Storm, seemingly frozen in time. Despite all the objects around him being solid, the people would sadly not be. As the Maker would attempt to touch her phase, but feel his hand phasing through her matter. "I'll get you back. I'll get everyone back. But I need more samples of my world that have been lost upon this universe. And more copies of the cosmic cube."The Maker would look up above at the ceiling, as it slowly faded away to show the very top of the Cube. Notably the bright blue light that was surrounded by three mechanical rings that rotated ever gently around the powerful object. He needed more materials from his universe in order for the cube to calibrate and bring back his world. But he also knew that he needed a cosmic cube from this reality to gain more power. Enough to deal with the coming threat that was coming after him, and in turn, this particular universe as well. "Computer, the drive?"<"Here it is sir, all of the files on Mothervine from the SHIELD archives.">This was in reference to the SHIELD of his universe, one in which no longer exists sadly. Nonetheless, he couldn't worry about that, as he'd focus on grabbing hold of the flash drive that had steadily materialized right in front of him. It would seem the computer would be programmed to work in tandem with the cube, and help it function as a secondary brain in case anything happened to the Maker. Hence, it generated a flash drive out of the matter the Cube commanded, and programmed data inside of this drive midway. To layman's eyes, this was practically magic. But to the Maker, this was simply paltry science in the making. For now, he needed to have his talk with the Maker. He couldn't work with any genetic material here to create himself an army for this powerful threat. The remains of his world's cube was unable to generate any organisms at the moment. But perhaps this Mr. Sinister would have better luck? That would let the Maker have more time to work on his other projects, particularly in obtaining those other samples from 1610-MHR. "Take me to this Mr. Sinister. Now."The cube would suddenly transport the Maker to the balcony of the tower, where this Mr. Sinister stood. As he transported behind the man, there was no doubt in the Maker's mind that this Mr. Sinister would now suddenly be aware of his presence. But he didn't mind that. He was here to have a talk, not assassinate the man. "Nathaniel Essex, yes? Or do you prefer to be called Mr. Sinister?"

Mister Sinister "What a Sinister turn of events this was, eh?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Phantom Pains in nondescript areas was a natural thing for Essex. He was connected to much of the mass of Genosha, which he was practically holding up with his own physical ability, so it was pretty easy to say that he was often in pain. The pain, though ever present, wasn't even something that Sinister would flinch at. He normally wouldn't have stayed connected at all times, but it was not smart to leave an island attacked by both Ultron and Apocalypse unwatched. Not that he had any care for the people living here, but he had a plan to make this place his perfect base. For that to happen, he needed mutants here, and they needed to be happy. Sinister would find himself looking out over the small festival happening below. They were making churros, how adorable. He thought to go down there and enjoy his people on the island of Sinistora. Just as he was thinking about doing that, he would feel in flux of the presence in the tower. That was new. Normally he was able to block teleporters from getting up here. That either means he's met an Omega Level teleporter, or this person was out of this world... Judging from the biometric scans giving him something that resembled the Reed Richards of his universe, he would deduce that the latter were true. "I must say, you had my intrigue by getting in here. Now, from the biometrics scans, you have my interest, Dr. Richards..." He'd turn around to face the man who looked NOTHING like the Reed Richards he knew and "loved" dearly, "That's assuming you're still a doctor in your world, as the one of mine is. I presume you have a reason for approaching me so boldly? If you're here on the behalf of my Dr. Richards, I would appreciate you not coming here and disrupting this beautiful home for mutants that I am building."He began pacing around, skipping some of the formalities, but not all of them. Sinister was a sucker for the formalities. "Sooooo... Let me guess. You're from another universe hear to warn me of the impending doom of, inevitably, me. I have made perfect mutant chimeras and have become unstoppable, thus making me the only person who can stop this other Sinister from continuing on? Your logic for asking me would be immaculate, as that is my end goal. I can't take over the world and multiverse with another me doing it first!" He'd say, beaming at pride with his idea. GenoshaAs expected, this Mr. Sinister was already aware of the Maker's presence the very instant he teleported upon the porch of this large tower. In fact, he was even able to identify that the Maker was indeed "Reed Richards" despite his own DNA not exactly matching that of the Reed of this universe. Speaking of, he'd ask the Maker if he was affiliated with that particular Reed, which the Maker would scoff at the very notion of. "Heh, no, I am not affiliated with the Reed of your world. I would rather avoid him altogether at this very moment if I can help it."Then Mr. Sinister would attempt to make a hypothesis as to why this Maker was here. He was right that Reed wanted his help, but was wrong on the reasoning. Points for being partially right at least. Maker did want his help on the creation of these chimeras. Sure, he could identify how to make such creations himself, but he didn't have the time. Especially with all the big projects he'll need to take up in preparation of the big "threat" that was no doubt coming for him. "Well, no. I do want you to create these "perfect" chimeras you speak of though. But that's to address a different threat. Not you sadly, though I understand why you'd assume so. My universes' Sinister was sadly plagued by various psychoses to fully utilize his own genius. A sad affair really."He'd say so in a slightly sarcastic manner, but he'd continue on about why he'd need these chimeras. "Anyways, I've noticed the mutants of your world showcasing tremendous potential. Both in powers across both the mental and atomic states. The pure potential of that is quite astounding, and may possibly offer this world a chance at stopping what's to come. And I understand you are the forefront pioneer at discovering what the full potential of this mutant gene actually is. Which is why I've come to part a gift and all I ask in exchange is that you finish your research. Create an army of these perfect chimeras, and aid me in stopping this threat."The Maker would then lift up his hand and teleport in a vial of Mothervine, showcasing a light-green liquid that was still bubbling inside the vial. "Think of this as an extra head start on the already expansive amounts of progress you've made on your research. I'm hoping this imperfect mothervine will help you fully explore secondary and tertiary mutatations of this X-gene of yours. But of course, there is a way to quickly obtain a perfect sample. But that requires you to collect a specimen from my own universe that just happened to cross over into yours. I can tell you who they are, if you're interested in my offer."The Maker would await to see Sinister's answer, fully prepared for whatever outcome the genius would decide to offer back in return.

Mister Sinister "What a Sinister turn of events this was, eh?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ah, so it WAS Richards... That was kind of a shot in the dark, but the sensors did give him a TINY bit of confirmation there. Skrull threats were in abundance, but this... Didn't seem to be what that was. This Richards was legit, but not his legit Richards... This was a Richards who had taken note of his skills, though it had made Sinister sad to know that the Sinister of the alternative Reed's universe was plagued with lunacy. A true shame indeed. He was no fool and knew how dealing with more than one of yourself was difficult, especially when you're trying to constantly backstab and kill yourself. He could see merit in not wanting to meet with his counterpart from this universe. "Ah, yes, I would very much like to avoid Reed Richards as well, though our definitions of avoiding may be a tad bit different..." He'd say in agreement to what was mentioned. This Richards then got down to business, the meat and potatoes of the argument. The man lacked the verbal foreplay he typically engaged in to gain the upper hand, but there was merit to getting to the point. One must always be upfront with someone you are forced to trust. The man wanted to know of the mutant that crossed over to the world he is in, and he was offering a large sum of something to do it... Mothervine. "My my... Something to enhance mutant genes... Or infect others with it if done right. As a fellow geneticist, you know the value of this vile alone, even within its incompleteness?" He'd question, thinking momentarily before continuing, "And all you want from me is an army of disposable clones? That seems too good to be true, my friend."He'd mill around his space for a moment, admiring his own architecture. It was something of the future, truly. His literal blood, sweat, and tears were in this place. His biologically enhanced city was a blessing. He could connect and disconnect as he saw fit, with no harm done to him. If and when Magneto decided to lay waste to this place, he would be in no pain if the site fell. That reminded him. "Well, I would normally accept this idea in its entirety. Sadly, I find myself in a battle of wits with another intelligent and powerful being... Big moves are being played here. The mutant 'messiah' or tyrant, depending on your worldview, Magneto is on this island, not too far from here. While he is reclaiming the island, I am also doing my own reclaiming. Hopefully, this place will become an equal split of work done, though I fear Magneto is going to beat me to the punch... Therefore, I will be gathering useful resources to make this place a utopia for all mutants, under the single premise that I can be the mortician and use the recently deceased. Some may hate it; others may love it... It matters not. I want a place where I can get mutants without the hindrance of the X-Men, and this is my best chance. It's like treating your cows better. Fatten them up and let them live a happy life, and then be left with the spoils."His arms would cross, looking to the simmering green liquid. He was fascinated with it, yet also disgusted. Of course, the key to mutants as a whole was green. Why wouldn't it be? "That vial could be the catalyst to the entire country, and having me on it... The sad part is, I may not be able to use it the way that I normally would. If I had to guess, I would need to use it so Genosha could gain some political power.""Normally, I would try very hard to trick you into just giving it to me and backstabbing you on the clone deal... Be lucky. I respect and plan to steal the schematics of your gadgets. In the meantime, I can tell you that I have yet to reach the 'perfect' mutant chimera. I can tell you, I can make you an army of me, which is the closest thing you can get to a perfect mutant chimera. Complete with telepathy, endopathy, and peak physical strength, to name a few. Not sure how big this threat is, but I'll be able to get you a small army of those within any timeframe you need."A delicate, paper-white hand would extent to the Richards. "So, what do ya say? Business partners?" AppTrackerVoice Example

GenoshaThe man known as Sinister would extend out his hand for a shake, truly believing he'd be capable of tricking the Maker whenever he'd want to. He was sadly mistaken, but best not let him know that. After all, this Richards kept close tabs on several key figures of this universe. And that meant he'd need to clarify a few details on what he actually wanted before handing away that vial. Pacing past Sinister, he'd wait a bit on the handshake as he made sure the mad scientist knew exactly what he wanted. "Let me clarify a few things. As powerful as your clones may be, I prefer ultimately seeing the perfected results on your Omega mutants of this world. Of course, you may use this vial to your heart's desire, creating your powerful chimeras with those clones of yours. But these Omega mutants of your universe boast tremendous power. I believe they may be our best bet at combating the threat at hand."The Maker would then turn to Sinister to speak more on his supposed rivalry with that of Magneto. "Such as this Magneto for instance. On my world, he nearly destroyed the planet by simply flipping the axis of the globe. The chaos he sought by such an action was quite the game changer if I do say so myself."This Reed would know. His life was never the same after that terrible event, though he considered the consequences of it to be quite the awakening if he does say so himself. "Instead of competing with the man, why not work alongside him? Even showcase some goodwill to these X-men. Or do whatever, I don't actually care. As long as you bring me that army, I'll be pleased. But I imagine being on good terms with the two major factions that represent this mutant race would be quite beneficial for you, no?"

Mister Sinister "What a Sinister turn of events this was, eh?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sinister couldn't help but chuckle when Maker mentioned everything said. He continues to forget that intelligent minds consider the same plans. Everything that Maker had suggested were things that Mister Sinister had already planned to do if this Genosha plan panned out. Experiment the Mothervine on Omega Level Mutants? Yes. Replicate the vial a damn near million times? Yes. Show good will to the X-Men to help with this Genosha plan? Yes. Work alongside Magneto to give himself relevancy? Yes. Nothing got past the man in this sense... No sense in hiding all of his motives even further, but there was still one benefit that the man was most definitely missing. The constant flow of dead mutant bodies... Hell, he didn't even have to actually get them killed at this rate. He'd just need to request highly dangerous missions that got them killed and he could bring them in without worrying about anything beyond that. It was a lovely world to imagine. "Ah, yes... It seems that you have seen right through my ruse... I apologize. You must know more than anyone that keeping your secrets hidden is a valuable skill to have. Which is why you have the telepathic blockers..." He'd say, turning his charming smile to the man perusing his tower, "Yes, my plan was to team up with Magneto to give myself credibility to the X-Men. To them, I am a freak of nature that all mutants should fear... But if Magneto backs me, they will be inclined to listen. This will provide me with a steady stream of mutant bodies... Though it is a dice roll on how much Omega DNA I will be exposed to. Though, you can rest assured that it is my goal to get the DNA regardless of this vile of Mothervine.""You raise a good bargain. Though I must know the timeline in which this is needed. I am brilliant... Hell, I am even a miracle worker... But I am not any form of a god just yet." AppTrackerVoice Example

GenoshaIt seems he had underestimated this man. Sure, the Maker practically listed out Sinister's plan to a tee, but he didn't truly expect that the man had already considered Reed's strategems in advance. Perhaps he wasn't as much of a buffoon as the Maker assumed. Arrogance is a flaw they both apparently shared. But that just meant that there were other cards this man was likely keeping close to the chest. Some of which could prove fatal to the Maker if he wasn't careful. It was almost certain this man would betray Richards if he placed an ounce more trust than necessary with the mad scientist. So it was probably a good thing that the Maker had plenty of plans of his own he'd have to work on in secret. "Approximately 8928 hours, 42 minutes, and...51 seconds. Or to summarize, an estimate of 372.029757 days. I'm sure that should suffice for you, yes? Though there are various factors that could shorten this time frame. At worst, you may have 35.0146875 days."That would be if his "Think Tank" failed in maintaining the constant stream of the cube's energy throughout the N-Zone/Negative Zone. Had his "space" station failed in maintaining this unique cosmic equilibrium with the output of energy from his world's cosmic cube, it wouldn't take long for the Beyonders to find this universe next. He'd need preparations as soon as possible, especially if he wished to combat a threat as powerful as them. "But a man as brilliant as you shouldn't struggle with such meager time tables. Right?"

Mister Sinister "What a Sinister turn of events this was, eh?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Essex looked at the Maker with the timeframe. Sure, it wasn't a ridiculous task... That much was certain. 35 days was not much. Even Sinister would sweat at such a task, and he was sure that Maker knew it was a heavy task. At the same time, this big threat that he was referencing was something of great importance. For a man like himself to come asking for the help of someone as impressive as Sinister... From another universe, no less. Yes, whatever this was. This was going to hinder his perfect project of Genosha, if he weren't careful. He'd just realized that Maker has trapped him. A refusal could lead to the destruction of the thing he is doing here. "Why, yes, of course. I hope these tests will prove to be valuable to the founding of Genosha. I will do as much as I can with the Omega class mutants that I am exposed to, though it won't be nearly as much research as that from the other classes."He'd frown for a moment. "You have impressed me, good man. I have finally been provided with a challenge that I am not certain I can complete... That means I will put forth much energy to ensure that it will be. I appreciate a man with intelligence that rivals even mine." AppTrackerVoice Example

The Maker would smirk, as if he was attempting to stifle a laugh. Rivals in intellect? Who knew Sinister was such a great comedian? Least, that's what Richards thought of him. But best to humor the mutate. After all, for all the Maker knew, he gave Sinister a Herculean task. One that may take countless hours of work and failure to prove successful. But he was just one plan in many in the hopes to stop the threat. If Nathaniel did succeed though, well, even Maker would have to admit that he'd be impressed. Perhaps this world will fall to a fate similar to his own, such as with his version of Magneto? Or perhaps, this new age of mutants could bring about something more? Only time will tell, if they are able to overcome their End. "I trust you'll impress me Nathaniel. And I wish you good luck. Perhaps I'll give this place a visit again, hopefully under better circumstances. Until then, farewell."With his arms behind his back, he'd pace away before materializing into the ether. He had teleported back to his base hidden within the N-Zone/Negative Zone. Things were starting to be in motion, and he needed to begin the steps for another plan. "Think Tank, give me all the files you have on one Franklin Richards. He's figure that doesn't exist from 1610, and well....I've been dying to meet him."THE END
