Within the Hidden Goblin LairTask after task had proven exhausting to the poor Phil Urich. He was working as a photographer for the Daily Bugle, desperate in his search to find his "missing" girlfriend. And he spent the rest of his free time as the Green Goblin, terrorizing the streets of New York, or leading his fellow Goblins to do the same. Or were they called Goblinoids? Goblin Jr.s? Perhaps as a test, we should make them all endure some trial of pain. Don't want them crying a bunch of tears, like a pack of pansies? Don't you agree Philip?"Ugh..."The man would be holding his head, trying to ease his headache. That other voice in his head really made things troublesome. Plus, he would have bouts of blacking out, as if he had been out on a heavy load of drinking. But he knew better, or at least, he thought he did. Looking towards one of the back rooms within the lair, he'd see the locked door to the room that held Norah. His girlfriend that he had kidnapped. Wait, why did he kidnap her again? "Wait, Norah? What am I doing? I need to get her out of there!"The man, nearly wearing the entire Goblin suit except the mask, would rush towards the locked door. He'd try to pull with his superhuman strength, but to no avail. The door was locked shut. "What the hell was I thinking? What the hell am I doing? Why am I working for that Red-Skinned Psycho?"Because he sees the bigger picture Phil. And Norah, she will never love you. Love us. But we can make her. Make her see the truth. Write the gospel about the Goblin!"SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!!! I'm getting her out of this place, NOW!"Trying his best to remember the code, he'd calm down and see what the Goblin had put down to enter the door. Focusing and breathing, he'd never notice the act of him putting on the Goblin mask that was hanging off his belt. For some reason, it helped with his recollection. He now knew the code. "56412."With the numbers entered in, the doors would magically open. The vault revealing a room with an unnerving site. That of a tied up woman, forced to look at various images all around her. All involving the Goblin, with a voice over that had repeated laughter over and over. When "Phil" entered the room, the screens would stop and the laughter along with it. But the woman would look towards "Phil" with immense fear. She'd scream out through her gags, but no one one outside the lair could hear her. "Hello...my dear. It's just me. Your friendly neighborhood Goblin. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"The vault door behind him would shut, as he'd walk towards Norah to play whatever sick, sadistic games he had in mind. Winters would be his. The Green Goblin would make sure if it, if it was the last thing Norah would ever know.

A Few Days LaterThe photographer named Phil Urich would find himself unconscious within his one bedroom apartment. His phone would be filled with text messages and missed calls, either from friends or relatives, worried about where he went. They feared for his well-being, especially since his girlfriend had gone missing not too long ago herself. But he had simply been "asleep". Or was he? He'd find out as soon as he'd awaken to a horrific sight. That of a the Green Goblin himself. "Waaaaaah! What the- How are you here?""I've broken in before Urich, or have you forgotten?"He'd blink his eyes a few times, before the costume of the Green Goblin would instead showcase a trench-coated figure with demonic red skin. It was Nels Van Adder, a figure Urich despised. His anger would lash out, angry at what the man had turned him into. He had the gadgetry and powers of the Goblin before, but he never relapsed into such psychotic episodes before. Not like this. "Wha-what did you do to me? I never did stuff like this! I was a hero. I used to help people. You turned me into a monster!"The red-skinned figure would give a toothy grin, before giving out a hearty laugh. A laugh that brought chills to Urich's spine, not for the fact that it was so unnerving. Rather, it was because it felt so similar to his own as the Goblin himself. "I did no such thing. You had such predispositions within yourself long ago. Such as your hidden passions for Norah Winters."He'd press a button on the remote, before flicking upon the touch screen on his phone. Footage would then show up on the TV, showcasing the Green Goblin tormenting Winters in methods I dare not mention within this post. The sight left Phil horribly scarred and terrified. Refusing to believe what he saw, he'd look towards Van Adder, wanting answers for the sight before him. "Tha-that's Harry right! It's Harry isn't it! Or maybe it was that stupid hick you decided to hire! Right!? RIGHT!?""Neither know the code to the door. Only you do, Philip."Urich would stumble backwards towards the wall behind him, before falling to the ground in despair. He'd mumble before being more and more audible with his "No, no, no, I didn't do that to her! I wouldn't do that to her!"His eyes were wide and he'd steadily shake on the ground below. All the while, Nels would laugh a loud, crackling laugh. "HahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"Urich's face showed anguish at first, his eyes watery with sadness and guilt. But his mumblings would steadily turn to laughter as he joined in alongside Nels. "Huh, hehehehehahahahahahAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!The two Goblins would join together in laughter. It seemed today was simply a lesson from Van Adder. A lesson about not hiding from your true self. A lesson that Phil seemed to learn quite earnestly today. From here on, the two would join in on the scheme that would end Osborn, and possibly even Spider-Man once and for all.
