There was a long time when the authorities tried their hands at punishment. He had not done a lot by the standards of someone with as many trophies as he had, but by theirs, it was egregious.

He had shattered the legs of one of the metahuman guards and if it were not for some interference, his escape from this temporary restraint would not have been foiled.

Their memories, unlike his, did not seem to be quite as long. 

Gone were his furs, cut from the skins of the second best hunters in the primordial jungles of the world. Gone were his weapons: his knife, his spear. All he had left of them were his well-worn hands.

He wore a teal jumpsuit with 15864 written on his chest. He was faced away from the transparent polymer lining his cell, in obvious contempt for whomever had bothered the solitude of the tiger, however temporarily, in his cage.
