Bobbi was sitting at home, a glass of wine in her hand as she looked out upon the city, her city. Having helped one of the Eternals recently, she had taken some time off work but found herself adopting a fierce attitude of protection toward the people of New York. Yeah, there were several groups of heroes that helped, including a new group of young heroes currently learning at the Avengers Academy, but not only was it really nice to know that there are beings of immense power actually watching out for the entire earth, but she felt like she was part of that, which helped combat the feelings of loneliness that sometimes attacked her.
She sipped the tangy purple wine as she recognized a few buildings nearby, happy to be part of such a diverse group of people, but a tiny part of her yearned to still have the powers she was given by Sersi during their mission. It had been really cool to be able to open a door with just her mind, and while she knew she was one of the top SHIELD agents and highly trained, she did wish that she could read minds or fly on her own. Still, she had a lot of power inside her anyway; she was determined and strong, compassionate and yet recognizing that rules needed to be followed and there needed to be people willing to enforce those rules. She was one of those people and was proud of it, and since her latest mission she did see herself as more of a protector.
She just was a little restless, almost felt like going out onto the streets and roaming around, but then she might get mistaken for a vigilante and get thrown in jail. It would not look good for SHIELD if they had to come bail her out, and yet that itch still persisted. She got up and started walking around, almost hoping to spot something that she could call her bosses about, but then it was a quiet night. Not that there weren't people wandering around, she could tell that Broadway was active still and lights were on in the surrounding buildings, some of which were businesses, but there didn't seem to be any nefarious plots.
Breathing partly in relief, she finally decided to close her massive shades and get ready for bed, after doing so she slipped under the comfy covers and hugged the other pillow to herself. To be honest, she also missed having a partner but there really wasn't anything she could do about that now, besides her work was her life at the moment. She was really too busy to date seriously and there really wasn't anyone who stood out to her at work or in her circle of friends. Still, maybe she could join one of those online dating services or something? Smiling to herself, she decided to give it a try or maybe do one of those speed dating things? Making a mental vow to check it out in the morning, she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
