*CRACK* I fall down with a thud as I hear ringing in my ears. Sadly isn't a boxing match or even a professional MMA match. There were to rules and no referees. Victory is determined by knockout or submission. and I chose one of the biggest dudes available. The man's big at least 6ft tall well over 400 lbs, Japanese ethnicity, he was probably a disgraced sumo wrestler. I don't know what I was expecting coming back here to this world. I've been here before I should know everything that's going on especially considering how from this Earth's perspective, virtually no time has passed between now and the last time I was here. And yet everything is shocking me. The civil war still happened much to my own dismay and...I'd rather not talk about the state some of my favorite heroes are in.
Probably the thing that frustrates me about my...well let's call them abilities is that I have an idea about what's going to happen or at the very least what could happen and yet it feels like my feet are planted firmly on the ground. I can't really proact I can only react. I could probably learn when and how some disaster is going to go, I could read every single App on this board no all of their dirtiest secrets and biggest flaws, yet without the proper celestial channels as it were, it's just knowledge inside my head that literally can't come out and if I belt it out improperly just like that I'm gone. My Player loses control of me and I'm forced back into character limbo until some other player picks me up and reincarnates me.
I know why these rules exist and for the actual players involved it's no big idea. Nor is it a big deal to most other characters because they don't know. They can't comprehend the 4th wall like I can so what is fiction to me is just lying to them. But for me, I'm stuck as a woman of two worlds too fantastical for the real world, too real for the fantastical world. I'm left doing what all heroes are left doing. I'm punching my way out
I get back up and I duck and weave the big man's strikes. I can't take him head-on. He's too big and my player made him too strong...or maybe made me too weak. So I take the next best opinion I have. I use this own weight against him...and I fight dirty. My ears are still ringing. It'll probably be like that for a while. All I can do is just wait for an opening. Wait for it...Wait for it...wait for it. NOW. I sweep the leg and hit him in the grown with as much might as I can muster. The man doesn't even scream. He just lets out a strained gasp before collapsing on the floor. The crowd Cheers I raise my hands in victory as my name is announced. I watch as money is exchanged apparently a lot of people bet against me. I guess now it's time for me to collect my reward too.
