"Yeah I suppose so...you doing ok?"
*Sigh* "Yeah I'm doing ok...still hurt having to do that. I guess it gave Spidercide some more character growth. To be honest, I think he'd be perfectly content being a Peter Parker variant."
"Just like it would tickle you pink to find out you've been the real Gwen Stacy all along."
"Heh, we both know that's not true. I'm a Gwen from an alternate universe. A Gwen Stacy sure, but not one from this world.
"*Sigh* I guess neither of us can let it go can we?"
"No, I tried coping and reasoning my way out of it, but I still think it's unfair. EVERYONE else including Norman freaking Osborn, got to walk away from that. Everyone got to move on or get a second chance in life. But no, Gwen Stacy's character that gets defiled for a cheap "Peter Parker sad" moment, fake out resurrections, clones, and alternate universe variants! Grrrah!
Gwen Stacy put her pillow over her face as she let out a muffled scream.
"I don't get it! Even the Karokoa clones are treated as the original I mean the writers completely retconned how cloning worked just so they could handwave the fact that the current...x-men...are...clones..."
Gwen's eyes widened. "Son of a gun! Why didn't I think about this sooner!"
"What, what is it?"
"The Krakoaion Principle of Cloning!"
"The Krakoaion Principle of Cloning?"
"Name in progress! Look, Someone pointed out to you one time that according to modern marvel canon. When a perfect clone of a deceased person is made, thier souls bond to the clones making them the original, it's how The Krakoa writers are able to handwave the fact that all of the X-Men in 616 are clones...and justify their weird creepy suicide parties. Please by all things good let Krakoa not become a thing in this universe. Anyway the Krakoaion Principle WOULD NOT APPLY to Peter Parker because he wasn't dead when his clones were created...Gwen Stacy on the other hand...."
"Gwen Stacy never had a perfect clone though that was the whole thing all his clones fell apart."
"Eeeeee wrong!" Gwen teased jovially. "There was ONE perfect clone. The FIRST clone. You actually know who she is Webdevil briefly talked about her when you first pitched your ideas for Gwen Stacy."
"Ok Gwen, help me out here I'm lost, who are you..."
Gwenpool typed something on her Android and then showed it to John
Joyce Delaney
This Gwen Stacy was one of the clones of the original Gwen Stacy created by the mad scientist Miles Warren, known as the Jackal, to torment Peter Parker after the death of the real Gwen at the hands of the Green Goblin.
After having discovered she was a clone following the death of the Jackal after the battle between Spider-Man and his clone, she was kidnapped by the High Evolutionary's Purifiers during the Evolutionary War, to understand how the Jackal had developed instantaneous cloning. The High Evolutionary discovered reading Miles Warren's journal that Warren never cloned her or anyone. In fact, it was revealed that Warren's assistant Anthony Serba was mutated with Parker's genotype to become identical to Peter Parker, becoming the first "Spider-Clone"; Warren's student Joyce Delaney was mutated to become identical to Gwen Stacy and the original Carrion was not a clone of Miles Warren but someone (possibly Anthony Serba) infected with the Carrion Virus.
At that point, the Young God Daydreamer removed from Joyce Delaney the Gwen Stacy genes and give Joyce her identity and memories back. With her identity of Joyce Delaney, she married a clone of Miles Warren named Warren Miles and went by the name of Gwen Miles, living with him in New York. During the Clone Saga it was revealed by the High Evolutionary himself that he earlier lied about Warren's journal, that his clones were all real, no Joyce Delaney ever existed, Anthony Serba was killed by Warren, and Carrion was really a Warren clone.
When Gwen's husband Warren Miles died from clone degeneration, she reunited with Peter and Ben Reilly (the "original" clone) to defeat the reborn Jackal. After the death of the Jackal, Gwen went away in search of a normal life.

John's eyes widened.
"Uh huh, told you. Granted she was killed off in 2011 a full decade before The Krakoaion Principle of Cloning but nothing past Civil War is hard canon and there have been plenty of instances when to follow modern marvel and not. You should know, you did decide to make X-23 Lady Wolverine and aged her up 5 years older than she should have been."
"Bold and cleaver Gwenpool I'll give you that. but first of all. There is a differnece between simply aging someone up and using modern canon logic to retcon a character's nature even if it is just slightly. secound of all there are some issues with your idea. both from a meta AND in-universe perspective.
"1.Say your theory is correct and by logic of modern marvel canon and according to The Krakoaion Principle of Cloning, Joyce Delaney is the Real Gwen Stacy by proxy of being the first perfect clone prior to post civil war retcons, the mods could argue that I would need to App Spider-Gwen before I could app Joyce due to her being an alternate. I don't have the slots and I'm not willing to give any characters up just to app her.
2. After everything Joyce has gone through are we not sure she hasn't had her ears with Spider-man? Maybe she wants to have NOTHING to do with anyone related to Peter or his clones.
3. You DON'T know if your theory is correct as some have pointed out We don't know if The Krakoaion Principle of Cloning applies to all cloning techniques or if it's something specific to the nature of Krakoa. This maybe the closest thing to get Gwen Stacy you get but it still won't be exactly."
"ok here is my counter to all of that. you have less than 40 posts before your next benchmark. If the mods are ok with you apping Joyce then but require you to app Spider-Gwen go for it. Gwen Stacy or not if Joyce is anything like Gwen Stacy it won't take her long to come back to say Josh, she still loves Peter even if she doesn't admit it. for your 3rd point I want you to put logic to the side, and think about it from a meta-perspective and I'm going to ask you a question. Does it matter? At this point Gwen Stacy only exist to make Peter sad when the writers need him to be sad, that and member Berries. Who's to say that Joyce couldn't have been Gwen this whole time. Joyce has been around for decades and hasn't fundamentally changed Peter, in fact Peter's made it pretty clear he's over everything regarding Gwen Stacy.
Besides wasn't that your goal with Gwen Stacy anyway? Have her change her name and make her mostly stay away from Peter. Even if it's not front-page news that Joyce is "Gwen Stacy resurrected" she can still do everything you intended with Gwen Stacy, just instead of being a support ccharacter for Kaine she'd be a support character for Spidercide and it's not like you are doing anything that wasn't already established in the comics. all I'm saying is it doesn't hurt to ask about her."
