Atlantean King woos the world's most famous super-heroine!
It's no secret that the infamous Fantastic Four has been disbanded since the Civil War over the Superhuman Registration Act divided the familial team in half. Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards, helped design the penal facility where rogue heroes and villains alike were sent if they refused to register with the United States government. According to sources, Sue Richards, the Invisible Woman, left her husband after a dispute over his actions and fled to the sea.
It is well known that Namor, the King of the Undersea kingdom of Atlantis, used to pursue Sue Richards both before and after her marriage to Mr. Fantastic. After her fleeing to him after leaving her family, it has become obvious that Mrs. Richards secretly harbored feelings for the Sea King all along.
"I saw her walk to the beach one day and up outta the water came this giant looking fella wearing tight swim trunks!" says Sherry Kizzington of Newport, New Jersey. "His eyes were intense and that Richards woman went right back underwater with him after she put on this mask. I kept watching for them to come back up but they never did."
Kizzington added, "He looked so intense. I remember because those muscles of his! His stomach was so hard and .... he wrapped his arms around Sue Richards like she was his new possession."
Kizzington wasn't the only witness to Sue Richards indiscretions. A New York citizen who wishes not to be identified confirms the affair. "I saw them kissing, plain as day, and that woman looked like she was enjoying herself quite a bit!" The eyewitness gave a conspiratorial nod. "I can't blame the guy. The Invisible Woman is beautiful, but... what's it got to be like to kiss a fish!"
Super Scoop spoke to employees from the Baxter Building who confirmed that Sue Richards had moved out. How long has the affair between the married Fantastic Four heroine and the King of Atlantis? Jim Sangees, a janitor at the Baxter Building, said he didn't know.
"I don't know how long she's been with ol' gill face, but she's been gone a long time." Sangees looked distraught over the knowledge of where Mrs. Richards had been spending her time but did not seem surprised. "I know'd they wasn't a happy couple," he says, "but I never thought she'd leave the kids like that."
Mr. Fantastic was unavailable for comment but Super Scoop speculates he is avoiding the press to try to preserve whatever privacy he can for the family.
"It's a damn shame," says Sangees. "Those kids need a mother and there she is off living under the sea with that King."
Kizzington understands, however. "Namor is handsome, has abs better than Superman's and he's a king! What's not to like?"
