Hey gang, SuperChick here bringing you the news you can use ... for whatever.
Less is More
I was just going to give a heads-up concerning the fact that I deleted a bunch of inactive players from the canon list, so there are a lot of canons you might love once again up for grabs. I also deleted a ton of old accounts that were inactive. So the membership looks smaller but it is more accurate, though still there is a fewer number of players posting regularly than are indicated in the membership tally. We'll work on that, but more on that issue later.
Custody Arrangements
Most of you probably already saw the newest addition to helping ensure threads will get completed. IN the Absence Notifications board, you will find a stickied announcement detailing the use of "caretakers." I will paraphrase in this news announcement, but you can find the details here. A Caretaker request is basically something you can do when you know you will be gone from the forum for more than a few days. You can ask another player to "care" for your characters and post with them to enable a thread to keep moving. As long as you return within a few months time, you can get them back. If not, the Caretaker will have the option of incorporating any canons they have written for into their own portfolio. Hopefully this will help everyone out! Be sure to read the details in full so you know what you're doing when you either ask for or accept the role of Caretaker!

I think that's it, but if anyone has any suggestions for things we can do to improve the atmosphere or RP here, let a mod know! We all love to write and we're all in this together! This is *our* place, so let's make it great!

What this means is, you get to choose whether to make an OC or adopt a canon BEFORE YOU WILL HAVE EARNED IT with your post count! The requirements include:
- Each ad must be posted on a different RPG type forums. (Don't post two in the same place or post an ad on a forum where someone else has already posted one.)
- List the forums with a link to the ad in a PM to a mod so we can verify your efforts!
