Captain Facenuke Full Name: James "Jimmy" Roos
Super Hero/Villain Name: Captain Facenuke, Agent Roos.
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Occupation: SHIELD agent
Team Affiliation: SHIELD
General Appearance: Personality: Jimmy is, for the most part, a fairly quiet and serious man, too long used to minimal human contact. However, he will occasionally tell jokes with little regard to how serious the situation is. This is largely because he spent most of his formative years highly apathetic to his situation and those around him, and is only recently being brought out of this mindset. As such, he tends to care more about the mission than the people involved in it, though he has occasional flashes of compassion for those who remind him of someone from his youth, before SHIELD.
His personal interest have evolved little, so many of his likes and dislikes retain a childish perspective. Cartoons, computer games, all the stereotypical things a child goes crazy for (though strangely not chocolate - he never had much of a liking for that). Conversely, it is near impossible to get him to watch the news or read a newspaper, outside of a direct order. But a mission briefing? Getting to play at being a secret agent is awesome. If he has to read a few pages to be able to play outdoors, then that is a small price to pay.
(ex. Spontaneous Regeneration. Explain their limits in great detail, especially for OCs)
Electromagnetic AwarenessJimmy is aware of all parts of the electromagnetic spectrum, as well as electricity and magnetic fields. He can sense sources and the general presence / intensity of these, and even 'see' them, though to be able to see one of these three phenomena (non visible E-M rays, electrical currents, magnetic fields) will render conventional vision black and white only, and to see two of them simultaneously would completely suppress conventional vision. It takes minimal concentration to make the switch between states for this, and no special effort is required to maintain.
ElectrokinesisHe can generate enough electricity to run ordinary electrical devices, up to a range of ten metres. He could run an electric car on his own, and can generate jolts with the approximate intensity of a TASER, though doing so more than four times in reasonably quick succession can tire him greatly. These are short range only, and can only be delivered to a target by touch, or the presence of a conductive medium such as a metal railing that the target is touching. He can, however, change the path of any electricity (such as a lightning bolt or unshielded power lines) he is near, and is immune to the harmful effects of electricity, able to make himself a superconductor, or perfectly resisting the flow of the current through his body.
MagnetokinesisJimmy can control the local magnetic field, allowing for floating of metallic objects up to 200kg, moving them at modest speed (about equal to a steady jog). For the purposes of this effect, he counts as metallic, and does not count towards the weight limit.
Force fieldOnly able to block metallic objects, and only large enough to protect himself. Sustaining this is almost effortless, but absorbing damage can tire him out quickly. More than a clip of ammunition, or stopping a high speed vehicle, can leave him unable to sustain the forcefield until he has rested properly.
EMP BurstThis can take out all electronics in the surrounding area, though tires his powers greatly. He would need a proper rest before using any of his non sensory powers again.
RadiogenesisThe power from which his code name originates, Jimmy can convert bioelectricity into gamma radiation. This is most efficient for the bioelectricity from higher brain functions. Against an average person, this will cause great pain, likely enough to incapacitate them temporarily. Against someone of below average intellect, it would be less painful, potentially even barely noticed. Against someone of exceptional intelligence, it could knock them out completely, though would not cause lasting harm as this would cease most higher brain functions. This requires line of sight, and can be blocked by anything that would block gamma rays, such as a radiation suit.
Weaknesses: (these are personal weaknesses as much as power weaknesses)
Jimmy has relatively little knowledge of the world as a whole, much of his childhood having been spent in SHIELD custody. He understands the basics, and knows bits of culture from TV, but social interactions were strictly limited. Similar limits mean he has built up very little tolerance for alcohol. Also, he has been known to show off on occasion, causing him to make mistakes, leave openings that can be exploited, and so on.
For the purposes of his powers, a 'proper rest' is defined as several hours in a reasonably stress free environment where he does not have to engage in physical activity. Only Electromagnetic Awareness can be used freely under this restriction.

Jimmy started out life in a very uninteresting way. An ordinary child, right up until age twelve, when his powers manifested. A school bully picked a fight with him, and ended up in the hospital, ultimately needing treatment for radiation sickness. Jimmy, meanwhile, was immediately taken into custody by SHIELD, to maintain public safety. For the next several years, all he knew was the inside of a cell. It was well furnished, he was treated with more kindness than he had any right to expect, but he always knew he was a prisoner. A comfortable cage was still a cage.
Worst of all, not many people came to visit him. When the one thing you were known for was nuking someone's face, it discouraged casual visitors. Even when they installed a lead-glass screen, it changed nothing. His family were scared of him, and so were his jailers, it seemed.
One day, there was an assault on the base he was being held at, he later found out it was an attempt at a jailbreak by HYDRA. They took out the guards and flipped the master switch to the cells, freeing everyone in the hopes that the ensuing wave of people seeking their freedom would keep SHIELD busy. But they had miscalculated in Jimmy's case. The guards had been just about the only friends he had known for years, and were more like his family. His powers reached out and within moments, there was not a single HYDRA agent left standing. When SHIELD reinforcements arrived, Jimmy was still there, surrounded by the still unconscious HYDRA team, having moved the guards' bodies into more respectful positions, like he had seen on TV. He felt he should have done more, but had no idea what else there was to do.
He returned to his cell peacefully, but before long there was an actual SHIELD agent visiting. They had realised that since the reinforcements hadn't shared the same fate as the HYDRA team, he had learned control over his powers. And that meant he wasn't a threat to anyone any more. But they weren't just letting him go, they were offering him a way to avenge his friends. And so, Jimmy joined the SHIELD academy, beginning training to be a field agent. Somehow they had heard the nickname that had been used for him on the SHIELD base when far enough away from his cell, but eventually he accepted it as his own. Captain Facenuke.

All through his imprisonment, all through the academy, even through his short time as a full field agent, Jimmy had only ever wanted one thing. Every year in that cell, when asked what he wanted for his birthday, he'd always said the same thing. 'to meet Captain America'. He'd idolised him for as long as he could remember, certainly long before he'd ever heard of SHIELD. But every year, they'd say he'd be there if he was able, only to get to the day and be told 'sorry, he's on a mission. Maybe next year'. Eventually, he realised they just weren't even asking him. He was not safe to be around, and they couldn't risk Cap getting killed by a kid throwing a tantrum. And so, he'd stopped asking. It hurt less to give up on the dream than to keep hoping it might come true, only to be disappointed.
Ever since joining the academy and learning what normal birthday parties were like, he'd made sure to have one each year, and even without the First Avenger there, they were everything he'd ever dreamed of. He kept them small scale, disliking the crowds of endless noise that most people's parties seemed to be like. Eventually it was only him and agent Thorne left, known to him and very few others by her given name of 'Prudence'. They sat together just channel surfing on the TV for a while, before she excused herself and rose, ready to go back to her quarters. But today, something different from normal happened. She paused, and kissed him goodnight.
He'd wanted that to happen for a long time, but had no idea how to tell her that. SHIELD had taught him how to kill without hesitation, all sorts of technical data, but not how to talk to someone about how you feel about them. By the time Jimmy had worked out what to say to her, she was long out of the door, and probably back at her own apartment. 'Oh well, I'll talk to her about it next time' was all he could promise himself. And so he went to bed, to completely fail to sleep.
