October 31,2018 It was a normal day when the sun went down. On his way home Dr. Curt Connors was not ready for what was about to happen. He entered the subway he spotted a few people acting strangely including one bum screaming there all dead as he ran by covered in blood. Curt just ignored that and continued into the subway train paying money then entering the sub train soon after. There were some younger high school students who just finished playing a pickup game at the high school. You could see the clay on their uniforms they had their equipment with them. They were on there the way to Harlem that was Curt's stop. Curt was waiting for his son to get done his pickup game at the school. His son was wearing headphones and ignoring his dad. He looked over and saw his son whom he sat next to. "Did you all win today, I know you were talking about this for a while?" Two of the kids nodded. Before he could say anything else a strange noise came from a couple cars behind and some blood-curdling screams.

Denholm Gladwell was sitting relaxed in his seat, feet kicked up on top of the chairs in front of him, playing on his phone. It lightly binged and bonged with quiet happy music as he played some kind of matching game with a content smile on his face. It was night, but his heavily mirrored sunglasses were over his eyes as a testament to this party animal's style, as well as his immaculate white suit jacket and jeans dripping with style. In fact, Denny was on his way to a party in Harlem, invited by just a small part of his huge circle across the city. He was always incredibly eager to be around people, and was extremely excited for what this day might bring, be it girls, guys, friends or foes. He liked crazy, exciting things after all, and this was supposed to be the craziest, most exciting party for years to come! And with him there, it was bound to be the best of the decade. He nodded politely to the kids that came in, all in their dirty baseball gear. The man smiled, thinking back on his high school years fondly. But his thoughts were interrupted by those terrible cries and vicious sounds of assault. ”What kinda party they got going on back there?” he asked with a worried tone, pulling down his glasses to peer back. He'd been witness to enough fights to know the sound of a struggle, but even from this distance, something sounded much more violent and visceral about this...

Crow Sometimes it was just better to make a less noticeable entrance. James was sitting on the subway bench waiting for the train to start moving. Things were strange today, but he couldn't place his finger on anything strikingly different. He watched the high school kids walk in. Then he heard the sounds of a struggle. He wasn't gonna risk anything right now, but he had experienced many forms of animalistic battle performed by humans. This however, seemed more primal. He turned towards the front his hood over his face. He looked down at the briefcase on the floor next to his feet. He had a feeling he wouldn't be making his stop, much less his meeting. Sometimes fate had other plans. His earbuds suddenly burst to life with music. Heavy metal blasting at max volume, however he could still hear everything around him. He would know when the fight reached them.

Curt stood up and started to walk over to the next car #10. "Relax everyone, maybe someone is just having a seizure. I'm a medic I'll go check." Curt stood up and moved into the next car back, people were looking at him strangely as they sat there with there earphones in or headphones all on their smart phones oblivious to what was going on. He then approached the car #11. He went inside there were two people on the ground fighting then all of sudden the one guy bites into the guy throat on the floor who was now bleeding trying to talk. A few people were trying to help others were just ignoring what is going on."Oh god, he needs medical attention now." The other man turned and looked at him his eyes were yellow and his body was decayed a little bit. The man appeared dead. Now the second man started twitching as Curt approached. The man with the yellow eyes started running after Curt. He was knocked all the way back into the door he just came in, hitting his head hard.
Moments later when Curt opened his eyes a woman was screaming above him and then grabbed and pulled back. Curt looked over and everyone inside the subway car was getting attacked. He quickly got up as a zombie came towards him with crimson blood and drool dripping off her mouth. He picked up a bag off the ground and hit her across the face with it. Curt was able to open the door but could not shut it. He started running."Quick everyone get up and follow me. This is an emergency!!" Curt looked as everyone was too into the smartphones and music to even hear him.

The white-clad man pulled on his jacket nervously, standing on one foot with his knee in the seat. He laughed when that chaperone who came in with the kids said to “stay calm”, but not out of humor. He did offer a word of support though, in case it really was nothing of concern.
”Maybe it’s one of those flash-mob things everyone loves...”
Denny was a fun guy, but he certainly wasn't dumb, and he knew when a prank was something much more serious. The sight of those sick-looking people sent some kind of a primal fear through his very soul, and the father getting so violently shoved to the ground encouraged him to action. He tried getting the attention of other passengers, pointing back at the commotion. Eventually he even left his row, shaking the shoulders of a few of the less aware. It seemed like most of these people were only going to run when the danger got to them.
Denholm didn't have time to waste if he wanted to save himself, which indeed he wanted to do. He broke into a jogging pace to keep up with the fatherly man who seemed like the only other sane person here. He condescendingly continued to back up the man's statements,
”You guys should probably listen to this guy, I think he's got a good idea here!” he shouted like a disappointed mother. But he also sounded like he was well-aware that his recommendation would go unheard. He thought about trying to stop those things back there, but the human fear made him more flighty than fight.

|NEW YORK CITY |2018 October 31, 17:54 pm EDTDonna Diego busied herself in cracking the smartphone she had pick-pocketed off some random guy before boarding the train. She needed a phone more to play games on Play Store then anything else, but it was nice to have one. She probably won't be able to have it for long though; she would probably discard it by day five because that's usually how long it took the Feds to catch her trail again. Eventually, the train came, and she got on, finding herself a quiet spot to sit in a cabin. Few people were already there before she got in, and a few more, including a one-armed man in white with some kids, came in later. 'Donna...' Her Klyntar felt uneasy. Scream was camouflaged as the distinctly normal clothes Donna was wearing. 'There's something--'And then it struck them, like a truck the headache that signalled their Symbiote Sense came, followed by the sounds of cries and pained voices. Her clothes began to unnaturally tremble, shivering like a mad cat, and Donna had to send Scream a mental command to stay calm before anyone nearby would have noticed. They probably still did though. 'Let's--' "No, wait," Donna whispered under her breath, seemingly to herself but in fact to her symbiote. She maintained her human form, sitting in her seat, as Curt went into the other car to check, and relaxed for a few moments when nothing happened, before suddenly, they were being attacked left and right! Donna was one of the first to jump off her seat as she saw the sick-looking people, zombies or whatever they were. The sight of them filled her with fear, and her fear filled her Other with rage. Despite all their cooperation over the years, she now found herself unable to hold Scream back; she wanted to take over, to protect her and these innocent people and kill these monstrous people if she had to! She heard another person say, and when the music-engrossed people refused to budge, Donna got mad. She jumped into the middle of the train car, where everyone could see her, including those zombies or whatever they were that were attacking. Her clothing turned into a yellow, red and black substance that moved as if it were alive, covering her from her feet upwards in the yellow-red-black substance, until only her face remained:
"ALL OF YOU!!! GET THE F**K OUT, NOW!!!"Those were the last words she got out before the red-yellow-black goo covered her face as well. There was no more Donna Diego, only SCREAM!!!

Dr. Connors was trying to get people up and move them to next car. He grabbed a suitcase and used it to ram one of the Zombies back but the zombie got back up the Zombie seemed to have a decent amount of strength Curt was using leverage to try and hold the Zombie down. The man who owned the suitcase got up."What the hell is going on?" He ran up pulled out a hard piece of sharp plastic out of his pocket and started to stab at the zombie that Curt was bashing back. Another man who looked like a transit on meth went up and opened the door to the Zombie car. Curt looked over at the guy who was clearly out of his mind. "Oh god...What the hell are you doing? Someone stop him!!" The man unlocked the door Curt and the other man was fighting a zombie on the floor. Curt looked back and someone was changing nearby into what looked like a monster and screamed. Curt let loose of the zombie with a real hard hit to the head. He and the man with the sharp object were now caught between the spider-looking thing and the zombies. Curt and the other man began to run past the Scream. "Everyone to next car now. We have very little time they are coming through and they are very strong."

Denholm was lingering behind trying to help others out of their seats when his foot caught on the bottom edge of one of the chairs. His head hit the ground hard and shattered his sunglasses, dazing him such that he thought he was imagining a woman turning into some kind of crazy monster. And, in his brief delirium, he thought this was the devil coming to drag him somewhere a lot more fun.
Unfortunately for this man, his death had not yet come, which he quickly realized when a humanoid shape lurched from behind a seat. Disjointedly, it lunged for him and pinned him down when he had tried to weakly get up.
Gnashing with bloodied teeth, the beast of a human tried to take a chunk out of Denny's face! And all he could do hold the creature back was hold it by the neck and chest.
It was overpowering him, slowly but surely. Doom was certain…
...but only if he was a normal person.
The shards of his sunglasses began to float and reform into a lumpy glass spike, which then launched at the head of that unholy abomination on top of him. In a bloody mess that spattered Denny's white clothes a blackish-red, the thing's head slumped, and Denholm was able to push it off of him. He laughed nervously as he ran away through the door, excited and terrified that he almost bit the dust by being bit.
”Hey so,” he began, trying to catch his breath between words. ”I’m gonna build up a barrier at the door! Everyone who wants to be behind it better move their asses, 'cause you got about a minute!”
Drips of some iridescent liquid began coming from his skin, converging near the door to reinforce that entry.
”I can seal up that door with my powers, maybe it’ll hold them back!”

Scream saw the zombies coming and hissed almost like a cornered predatory feline. Both Donna inside her, and the Klyntar, the Other, were appalled by what they were seeing. These abominations, these monsters, they were neither human, but they weren't Klyntar either, yet it was like some poor excuse for a Klyntar had possessed and demonised these beings. Digust turning itno anger, Scream jumped straight into the diseased horde, claws open wide. Her tendril hair lengthened and spread, solidifying and slammed into numerous stampeding zombie people, pushing them back easily. Her claws, both of them, one each, found two zombies and held them by the necks, before their heads into one another to knock them out and throw them at the advancing horde further pushing them back. 'Scream,' she heard Donna inside her. 'Don't kill them, maybe they're innocent! Maybe we can turn them back to normal!'"It's better if we put them down, sister!" Scream shouted out aloud, loud enough for the other occupants of this train car, behind her, to hear. Scream looked back at him, realising he had powers. Donna's request to not kill these people still in mind and acting on instinct, Scream looked back at the still advancing horde she was singlehandedly keeping back and then whipped her head, her hair tendrils dividing into two halves and shooting forth in two directions: first) ahead, whipping the horde back and pushing them behind into the front car, causing them to struggle against the tendrils lashing out repeatedly second) behind, whipping the people behind her into the back car, making clearing them easier to allow Glass-Man here to do his thing. "DO IT!!!" she shouted at Glass-Man besides her.

Curt was trying to help the people in this subcar. He made his way almost to the next sub car where his son was."If you can help go for it. We need all the help we can get." Connor had a relief look on his face thinking one problem to not have to worry about for a bit. He then started to walk back to where his son was. He had some blood on himself but no bites, the man who helped him earlier had a bite on his arm but he did not tell anyone.
Over the intercom, "This is your train conductor due to emergency situation an outbreak of an unknown disease. You all should be aware by now. Fema has moved into Brooklyn and set up. 72nd Street Station next emergency stop please exit if you are still alive try your best to make it to Brooklyn, the government and the CDC have set up a safe zone there. Oh no..."
The train starts speeding up. Dr. Connors looks around with around with a worried look on his face. He runs into the next area where his son is, pulls his son in close."Everyone hold on tight we are going to crash soon!!"

Denholm let out a startled yelp when the tentacled monster lady thing lashed behind, but he was delighted when he saw the people she had whipped were mostly unharmed. They shuffled fearfully with the rest of the current survivors in this car, pushing past to rightfully put as much distance as they could between the craziness and them. Denny suddenly felt a lot less fear towards the spooky lady, eager to welcome more help.
”Oh sweet, you're on the normal-people side?” shouted the man who could move glass with his mind to a monster that was a mass of hair and goop. If they survived this ordeal, he made a mental note of getting her info, if she had any. But right now he had bigger fish to fry.
He built up the barrier slowly but surely, sealing it up and using his control to fortify it by his mental hold. He was sure this would hold nicely so long as nothing crazy happened.
But then something crazy happened.
Denny could barely hear the intercom, but judging from the reaction of the man- who he now mentally referred to as Doc Leader Man- and the increased rattling of the car, either a big bump or a sudden stop was imminent. Neither was really agreeable. The glass-maker decided to protect himself and phased into his glass, positioning himself so his mirror-world reflected the car with the zombies, giving him a visual of the commotion. He focused hard on maintaining his barrier, so his glass could withstand the impact like steel.

"We are Scream, the Protectress if the Innocent," she answered rather smugly, and Donna resisted the urge to mentally face palm.
'Scream that does not sound cool at all,' Donna thought to her Other, and Scream flinched a bit.
'Really? Oh, my bad,' she thought back, before returning he focus on keeping the crazy murderous maneating creatures at bay as best she could while Glass-Man built up his barrier or whatever it was. Well, it worked, apparently, and Scream detached all the tendrils from her body, safely on the safe side of the glass as Denny fortified it.
Scream heard the announcement before jolting as the train suddenly shook, and suddenly it felt as it had gotten incredibly fast. She watched Mirror Guy disappear into his glass wall thing, before that guy from before who was behind her, shouted:
'Oh, zit,' Donna thought inside the Scream Symbiote.

Curt held his son close. " Billy, we will get through this. Billy, I love you." Curt knew he had only moments as the noise had become louder. Curt started worrying as the train started to make a very loud grinding noise, then all of sudden the car goes all the way to the left side. People were screaming and tumbling backwards inside the train. Then everything went black as black smoke filled the train. Some were thrown outside as part of the roof came off. Moments passed as the train came to a stop, when Curt opened his eyes his son was not there, The ground was littered with debris. Some of the people were getting attacked by Zombies. When he turned back a Zombie lunged at him, he fell to the ground still under the stress of the situation trying to get his barrings. He looked off to the 72 station it seemed empty his son was no were around. He kept fighting the Zombie but more he resisted the closer it was to bite him. "NOOO!!! Get off me, you damn Zombie. Oh god Billy, where are you? Billy!!!' His eyes started to blink Yellow and his arm started to grow back. He kicked the zombie back as he started to get a surge of strength. He then started changing into the Lizard.

The glass barrier withstood some of the initial rattling but absolutely shattered upon the impact, leaving his iridescent shards all over the place.
Safely from his mirror-world, Denholm could see the debris and Carnage all about, and a terror- much louder than the earlier fear- filled his heart. He wasn't about actual risks, he was terrified of dying, and the chances of not dying we're dwindling into smaller and smaller numbers. He considered hiding in his little glass hole, surviving and saving his hide. Who would know, really? He could close his eyes, cover his ears, ignore the problem.
But Denny wasn't that kind of person. He may have considered being a coward, but ultimately he just really wanted to help right now. He cursed whatever it was that gave him a backbone in this moment and willed the shards together to create himself a way out. Just as well, he began forming the leftovers into spikes prime for the zombie stabbing. As he climbed out of the glass, he began sending the spikes into the skulls of nearby dead-heads.
”Hey crazy nightmare lady, uh, SCREAM!” he called, believing everyone's best chances were with her. Until he saw Doc Leader Man in the distance, kicking away a zombie like a ragdoll. He was super, too! Hell yeah, they were all gonna save the day! But Denny looked more closely.
The dude's missing arm was back, weird but no worry.
And if there was ever a prime example for a person having a panic attack it was this guy. That was kinda worth a worry.
Oh and he seemed to be turning into a giant lizard.
”Scream, please have some insane durability!” Denny shouted, kind of freaking out, himself. ”Really need your beautiful super scary powers right about now!” He hid behind some debris really cursing that he came out of his glass. He began forming a weapon, but it would be a moment before it was complete. He hoped this giant lizard development wouldn't be a problem but holy hell was it as scary as a horde of zombies!

Using her ability to wall crawl, Scream stayed stuck to the train as the wretched thing tumbled to and fro and then lurched a bit too far towards the left than it should've. She growled like a wild animal, the entire situation getting on both her symbiotic nerves and Donna's human ones. She used her characteristic hair-tendrils to save as many normal people from getting injured as she could, but with the roof blown off, quite a few still escaped her reach and were launched outside. Her Spider Sense tingled as her white bug-eyes immediately turned to glare in the direction of the one-armed man who had been responsibly leading them, in a way, til this point. Apparently, he was now compromised. If her Spider Sense was correct, and it always was, this man - or reptile, whatever the duck he was - would be just as much a threat as the rest of them. Scream subconsciously sharpened her claws, taking in all the diseased zombies around her, as well as the lizard behind her. She paid little attention to Yelling Glass Guy, though she vaguely wondered how the guy had actually survived. Until, of course, he said: Scream snapped her head in his general direction, zombies and lizards all but forgotten. If anything, there was a small rid tinge on her cheeks, somehow noticeable despite the blackness for her face. "You think we're beautiful?!"'SCREAM! This it not the time to be flirting!' Donna screeched inside her head and she immediately turned her attention the zombies who were now literally upon her, although she knocked the two that had jumped on her back with two super-fast punches. Twisting around, Scream shot huge globs of yellow webbing at the entrance to the back car that was behind the Lizard, permanently sealing the unaffected ones from the zombies. They could find another way to get off the derailed train. That left Scream alone with multiple zombies, whom she repeatedly kept away from her using her hair-tendrils, shoulder and back tendrils, claws, punches and kicks, and Spider Sense, and the Lizard, who she focused on. Her Spider Sense was erratic around him, which honestly made her doubt he was friend instead of foe.
