Tiger Full Name: Leo Delgado Super Hero/Villain Name: Tiger Gender: Male Age: 17 Occupation: Student Team Affiliation: None General Appearance: Tiger's true face is unknown to pretty much everyone, even his own family. He refuses to show his true face - not that he knows what it looks like. And since he's a shapeshifter, he never has to. However, he has a singular form that acts as his default: he takes the shape of a 6'4" tiger/human hybrid. He's easily mistaken for a werecreature in this form. Clothing-wise, he wears sweatpants and a gym jacket, or nothing at all. Since he has a heavy fur coat, he sweats too easily. Personality: As the resident overachiever, Tiger strives to be an excellent student: he is studious, he takes part in track and field, tutors younger students, takes notes for the kids who miss classes due to kidnappings, and is was the captain of the student baseball team at his old school. He's always reliable, always kind, always dependable, and always there, even if you don't notice him. However, while he's a great student, his personal life is a mystery. He keeps his true self guarded. When he's not working on his curricular responsibilities, he's off in the forest behind the school, chasing animals or just spending time alone. He's just not interested in getting to know people on a personal level. Tiger doesn't identify as a human, or a mutant, or a tiger, or anything. He is who he is. But he feels most comfortable in his animalistic body, so that's what he is. Shapeshifting: Tiger's main power is shapeshifting. He uses this to take on the tiger form you see before you. Since he's also in a tiger form, he has gained several other traits, such as sharp, retractable claws, the proportional strength of a tiger, the speed of a tiger (55 mph, as opposed to the standard 45 for humans), and a craving for meat. Enhanced Smell: Seems to come with the territory of his animalistic form. His smell allows him to identify people by smell, and smell things within a 40 meter range. Elasticity: He can make his skin extra bouncy and rubbery, giving him an extra spring in his step. This, coupled with his tiger physique, have helped him succeed in sports. He can stretch up to 650 feet, but since he usually sticks to his tiger form, he rarely goes beyond 6'7". Weaknesses: Feral Mode: Largely why he doesn't do any fighting on a team. He'll sometimes fall into a state where his tiger-like mentality takes control. This s triggered by extreme hunger or getting too into a fight. Expect him to forget how to talk, or for him to be distracted by string and cat toys. He's also easier to bribe with food than most people. He'll also have an enhanced sense of aggression. Fur Coat: Being a tiger has its disadvantages, like being stuck with a thick coat of fur. This can cause him to overheat, especially in the summer. But he refuses to change into his human form, so what can you do? Prosopagnosia: Face blindness. He can't put a name to a face, even his own. He usually identifies people by smell or voice. - Power Gained By: Mutation - If mutant, what class? Alpha Taken Category: Neutral Abilities: Baseball: He's an expert baseball player. He enjoys it - it's a good stress-reliever and lets him use his natural strength. Weapons: None Tiger was born in New Mexico, to a rather young and inexperienced couple who weren't exactly planning on having kids. They took care of him for the first few years, but as they grew more resentful of him, and their relationship with each other started to deteriorate, they would start to neglect him more and more. They would eventually leave him with his paternal grandmother, who was unhappy with the responsibility of a child. Nevertheless, she loved and cared for him as best she could. As the years grew by, he would grow stronger, while his grandmother grew weak. By age seven, she was bedridden and Tiger took over the house chores. By age nine, he became responsible for his grandma's well-being, and worked odd jobs for his neighbors to bring in money. He became accustomed to being responsible and caring for others. By age fourteen, he discovered his mutation. Playing with it for a bit allowed him to find a form he seems more comfortable in. Unfortunately, such a look drove away all those odd jobs he had, since not a lot of people were willing to work with a tiger. Pretty soon, all his relationships outside of the home began to fizzle out, as no one seemed to be comfortable with Tiger's "true self." This lead to him developing a minor disdain for flatscans. However, his mutation did end up catch the attention of a local gang. From fourteen and on, he became a drug mule, enforcer and a team mascot for New Mexico's White Claw gang. Tiger wasn't happy with it, but he needed the money to take care of his ailing grandmother. And then came his grandma's death. Despite trying to keep her alive, the woman's life came to an end thanks to her sickle cell anemia. It was difficult to deal with, it was tragic, and it devastated Tiger. Even worse, ownership of the house came to his father, who decided to worm his way back into Tiger's life. Though his father claimed that he wanted to take this opportunity to rekindle his relationship with his son, Tiger had no interest in reconnecting with the man who abandoned him. But with granny gone, he had no reason to work for the White Claws, and he never had any intention of criminal behavior again. So he packed up his belongings and headed to New York. He's currently looking into attending the Xavier Institute, where an oddity like him can fit in. Fingers crossed for his acceptance. Other Information: He's a furry.
He briefly spoke to his mother, via his father, who still had contact with her. She didn't accept her mutant son or his look, but tried to hide her disdain. But she blames herself, believing that drug use in her early life lead to her son's mutation Tiger sniffed the ground around the Xavier property. Many bizarre smells filled his nose - salt water, burnt flesh, dogs, and various, human-like smells. As one would expect from a school of mutants; everyone was wildly different from everyone else. That might have been the charm of this place. Everyone was out of the ordinary. You could be who you wanted to be, no matter how you looked or what you would do. In a way, it was liberating. Really, what other school in the universe could be described as "liberating?" As he passed through the steely gates that guarded the property, he saw several students all around him. Obviously human-looking children sat with alien-like beings. A boy with a long neck had to bend down to speak to a girl with the face of a chicken. There were people he found hideous, and people he found gorgeous. He loved it. It brought the faintest smile to his face, exposing his sharp teeth to the world. Full Name: Clarent Super Hero/Villain Name: Clarnet Gender: nongenedered Age: approximately 110 to 120 Occupation: Magical artifact Team Affiliation: Non affiliated with teams
General Appearance: Clarent is an unassuming long sword with extravagant handle design and a permanent stain of blood upon it’s blade. It is mostly a steel grey in color with brown leather on the handle.
Personality: Clarent is deeply religious, making prayers often and has a strict sense of honor, however, decades of being used by people for personal gain has jaded it quite a bit and it views the world in very dim and almost entirely negative light. Being an object with no control over its actions have also placed it as an incredibly standoffish individual with its wearer. Clarnet has no real hobby other than it has grown fond of music and stories taking any chance it gets to listen to old stories of travelers and written creations. It also seems to enjoy any form of music even if it does go on a tangent of how music talent has degraded for this new technology era. During missions Clarnet is no-nonsense but tends to have a almost over the top moral system. It will continually chastise the wielder for any perceived unhonorable act and may even show interest in murdering them if they do a particularly immoral action.
Powers: Clarnet is indestructible by any nonmagical means short of herculean damage, however being broken puts Clarnet into a state of torpor where it will remain unconscious and without any of its powers available to the wielder until magical repaired, however using magic to break the sword will permanently kill Clarnet. Clarent was enchanted to fight against Arthur's magical sword, Excalibur, making it a powerful blade indeed, it is capable of clashing with most magical enhanced physical objects, it can even block pure magical attacks however this is entirely dependent on the sword’s wielder. It's only active ability Clarnet can use is a phantom projection of itself to slash at opponents maxing at a total of several swords, while floating swords make them hard to hit, they are as fragile as glass.
Weaknesses: Despite being made to counter Excalibur Clarent was never designed to destroy it, due to this Clarent is actually incapable of destroying most magical objects. It is also by all accounts not a fighting blade, being made to knight squires, it was never designed to be in the battlefield. Clarent was also the antithesis of Excalibur meaning that while Excalibur can choose who wields the sword and who does not, Clarent has no such choice and must obey every order of the wielder. Clarnet’s greatest weakness, however, is simply that it is a sword. Simply put it cannot walk or interact with its surroundings in any feasible way, it can't even see, it relies upon magic to even be able to talk. That being said it can if it so wishes alter the path of the blade somewhat. Clarnet is also a temperamental blade, revolting against its wielder the second it gets the chance, being picked up by another for example. It also imposes a strict moral code upon all it sees, seeing it as their duty to uphold it even if they aren't aware it even exists and thus sees many people as criminals even if they are by the law not.
Abilities: Clarent is wise in the matters of history, being used throughout history by multiple individuals. And Clarent has a perfect recall on all his memories, because of this it has a encyclopedic knowledge of many matters from magic to dating advice.
Bio: Long ago in the kingdom of England Clarent was made in a blacksmith’s shop. Clarent wasn't the usual sword like most other knights and soldiers Clarent purpose was to be a symbol, a symbol of unity and achievement of squires becoming knights and many a ceremony. However, this was stolen from Clarent by the sword in the stone. Excalibur, who was wielded by King Arthur Pendragon used the sword he pulled from the stone for everything, even ceremonies. This left the sword trapped in it’s case in some room in the castle never to be wielded until Arthur’s illegiment son Mordred took the blade and gave it to Morgana who forged it into what it was now. Mordred slew Arthur but died as well, now tainted by Mordred’s actions Clarnet was once again taken and thrown into a dark room, and then it went missing falling thru the cracks of history for a long time. According to Clarnet a raiding force attacked the castle and stole it, he was then wielded by their leader for many years before he was eventually killed and passed it to his son, an ignoble brat who lived up to his father’s legacy. This happened for many generations until an ill failed battle landed it in the hand of men at arms during the second holy Crusade by order of the pope. Surfing between Muslim and Christians hands the sword was finally nearly lost in the desert until it was stumbled upon by a the collector who then took it to the new world. Later after farmers rose up against their betters in the war known as the American Revolutionary war, it was handed to Jone Paul Johns, which the sword when feeling charitable would call him a wee bit eccentric, or on most occasions barking mad. After the insane individual had enough of Clarent he threw him into the waves were out of pure happenstance it landed on a shipwreck that was later discovered by a submarine and brought to the surface and into a museum. There Clarnet passed threw multiple hands of people using it for good and bad before it landed where it is today. The wall of a museum.
Sample Rp: Clarnet smashed against the magical axe, both weapon’s magical properties attacking each other, the Axe was a weapon meant to be able to instantly liquefy anything it touched while Clarent could ignore the spell it was casting, You die for what you did!”Ha! You can't even wield a sword correctly pig! You were better off with your wife on my plate!” Clarnet wanted to say that this was something grand, that for some reason the man who wielded him had accomplished so much, But in reality, he had taken steps back, the man had a right to be angry and he was justice once, avenging his wife’s death at the hands of this warlock who are others to stay immortal. But the man had broken many laws, and he wasn't a righteous individual anymore.
Clarnet was drawn back and parried the axe bitting into the warlock’s unprotected wrist. His blood drooled over Clarnet’s clean exterior, it was somewhat cold.

OUT OF COMPETITION
STITCH-FACE, THE VOODOO DOLL DETECTIVE Full Name: Stitch-FaceSuper Hero/Villain Name: Stitch-Face Gender: Presents as male Age: 8 Occupation: Detective Team Affiliation: None General Appearance: Stitch-Face is a living voodoo doll. He is made of burlap and stitched together at his sides from head to feet. His mouth is stitching that doesn't open. His right eye in a red button and his left eye is a black button. His heart is stitched to his chest. Stitch-Face is a little under two feet tall. Personality: The nature of Stitch-Face's powers greatly inform his behavior. The fact that any friends he has can potentially be harmed by him causes him to keep his distance. Even with clients, he is distant. Likewise, his intimate understanding of the nature of sympathetic magic is what pushed him along to detective work. Given his nature, Stitch-Face is disconnected from humanity. His enculturation is minimal, having been created by a solitary witch and leaving her care early. He is learning quickly, at least as far as the meaning of human interaction given his job, but human history and cultural knowledge generally evades him. Inhuman Material: Stitch-Face is a living voodoo doll. He speaks without a mouth that should function. He moves without any clear means of locomotion. He does not require any of the metabolic processes necessary for life. He does not breathe, eat, sleep, etc. Through magical means, Stitch-Face is roughly as durable a a human is. Stitched-Together: As Stitch-Face gets close to someone, their face appears in the center of his heart. This is not necessarily a positive closeness. It would work as well for a best friend or a mortal enemy. While stitched together, any misfortune Stitch-Face has is visited upon the person he has Stitched-Together with three fold. Additionally, any direct physical harm against Stitch-Face by this person becomes self-inflicted. For example, a punch to the face gives them a black eye. This last for seven days or until their status changes, either friendships are severed or fences mended, depending, which ever comes first. While Stitched-Together, Stitch-Face knows the subject's general location. It's inexact and tends to give about a half mile radius. Weaknesses: Sympathetic Magic: For Stitch-Face to Stitch-Together with someone can require proximity. There must either be some sort of relationship (good or bad), which is hard to do having never met. It need not be two-sided. Otherwise, Stitch-Face must be in contact with some physical object with particular significance to the subject. It is frequently sewn to him. This could be part of their body (a lock of hair), clothing they have recently worn, or something important to them (their favorite coffee mug but probably not the random container from Starbucks). Uncontrollable: Stitch-Face can't really control if or when a Stitch-Together happens. Physical objects tend to allow it to occur more often than proximity. A sufficiently powerful mage could direct Stitch-Face's abilities in a way he cannot. It doesn't require the Sorcerer Supreme, but a novice mage probably couldn't. Magical Item: For the purposes of certain spells or abilities, Stitch-Face counts as a moderately powerful magical item. Magical Source: Draining Stitch-Face of his magic would be the human equivalent of draining someone of their blood and would probably kill him. Unlike a human, it's possible the magic could be restored. - Power Gained By: Magic Taken Category: Hero/Anti-Hero Abilities: Stitch-Face is a skilled enough detective to operate a firm but is not world-class. He speaks English and French and understands some Kouri-Vini. Weapons: Stitch-Face will occasionally use his pins as weapons. Magic is a funny thing. With the possible exception of the Sorcerer Supreme or certain eldritch forces, even the most skilled of practitioners were dealing with something beyond their understanding. The exact combination of incantation and situation that lead to his creation were not known to him, and given that he has not been replicated since, in all likelihood, to his creator, Doctor Junior Pierre. He spent a few years doing ominous deeds on behalf of his creator in and around New Orleans before encountering a local hero who showed him a different way. He never really took well to either approach but he found the will and the way to leave his creator and his original dark purpose. He spent the next few years moving up and down the Eastern Seaboard. Eventually he settled in an area with relatively little magic but quite a lot of strangeness. In Manhattan, a talking voodoo doll wasn't exactly out of the question. He set up a private detective office as a way to use his natural abilities to pay the rent. Other Information:The Heavens wept as if lamenting some Earthly sin. Given the deluge, humanity must have been judged harshly. So one among them who was not human sought shelter in a dingy diner. He didn't eat but he sometimes liked the atmosphere. It was a building and restaurant themed on the 1950s, a period most of customers let alone the staff, and certainly not the being itself, had no living memory of, still it persisted through a sort of cultural inertia. The hostess, whose hair was in a brunette ponytail and whose outfit was heavy on the puddle skirt began to sing. ♫Would you like a taaable to-♬
She stopped suddenly when she laid eyes on him. It was, frankly, not all that surprising even given the nature of many residence of the superhero capital of the world. A man made of burlap, Stitch-Face had two giant eyes relative to his head and both were buttons, black and red respectively. Stitched over his chest was a red stylized heart. Parts of his body seemed to be falling apart. He spoke, his voice was a nasally whine in spite of his lack of a nose. "Maybe, but mostly, I'm looking for shelter from the rain."

HEMO GOBLIN Full Name: Kurt Skinner Super Hero/Villain Name: Hemo Goblin Gender: Male Age: Early 20s Occupation: Street Fighter, Assassin For Hire, Vigilante, Enforcer Team Affiliation:General Appearance: Hemo Goblin wears a demonic red and black power suit that’s literally grafted to his body. The suit has mercenary or military trappings about it, and causes Hemo Goblin to almost give off the vibes of a soldier. Underneath his power suit his body and face are terribly scarred to the point of disfigurement (think a Ghoul from Fallout). He stands 5’9” and weighs roughly 194 lbs. Personality: Hemo Goblin just wants to have fun. He’s not a villain per se, but he’s also far from a hero. Kurt doesn’t care where you fall on the scale of justice, as much as he just wants to enjoy himself. With that said he’s willing to engage in almost any conflict from petty squabbles, to street level warfare, all the way to battles with superpowered individuals all in the name of entertaining himself. Simply put, Hemo Goblin loves to fight—and he’s not exactly picky about where the fight comes from. He’d hire himself out to target a hero just as soon as a villain if the price is right. However it should be noted that Hemo Goblin isn’t exactly “evil” as much as he’s simply amoral and prone to doing things on a whim. As a young man who went from feeling powerless to having powerful abilities, it could be fair to say that amazing skill and power is the only thing Hemo Goblin truly respects. Despite his generally amoral and violent nature, Kurt does live by an unspoken code of sorts as he refuses to kill or harm those he considers weak or vulnerable--and may even decide to protect them instead. Mystical Blood Manipulation: Originally Hemo Goblin’s blood-based abilities were a detriment. But after being grafted to the Hemo Goblin armor and enduring several cybernetic implants Kurt gained the ability to better control his blood abilities. Kurt then enhanced his Blood Manipulation via mystical arts, and essentially practices a bastardized form of Blood Magic that allows him to conjure blood infused with demonic energy. Using his abilities Kurt can form “Blood Bombs” comprised of blood and mystical energy, create sigils from blood with magical properties, create shielding, launch blood projectiles, manipulate the form and shape of his conjured blood and even change the viscosity of the blood he uses to make it as hard as rock or as soft as water and everything in between. He can also control the flow of his blood to allow himself to move more fluidly in combat, enhance his senses, and even increase the speed at which he processes information. Kurt’s blood is naturally caustic due to his mutation, but due to his armor he has a degree of control over the acidity of his blood attacks and can turn the process “on” or “off”. Kurt must have a blood sigil present to utilize the full extent of his Blood Manipulation; without one he can only control the flow of his own blood—not conjure it or use blood magic techniques. Due to the Hell Fire Armor Kurt is capable of conjuring blood as long as a sigil is present. He must touch a solid object with his hand to conjure a sigil on it, the level of his powers are directly correlated to the size of the sigil he created, as well as his proximity to the sigil; the further away he is from his sigil, the weaker his power becomes. Creating multiple sigils within a short time frame is very draining, and creating an extremely large sigil may be so draining that it only allows Kurt to use one extremely powerful attack before he has to spend the rest of the day recovering. A breakdown of Hemo Goblin's Blood Magic abilities include: - Blood Projectiles:
- Blood Bombs:
- Blood Shields:
- Wall Crawling:
- Acidic Blood:
- Blood Drool:
Healing Factor: Kurt possesses a regenerative healing factor that aids his durability and allows him to survive attacks well beyond the scope of a normal human. However, Kurt’s Healing Factor is weak compared to the likes of Deadpool or Wolverine for example. He can’t regenerate organs or bone, nor can he regenerate or re-attach limbs. Despite its limitations, Kurt can heal from gunshots, knife wounds, and broken bones within a day. Cybernetic Implants: Kurt’s cybernetic implants grant him increased strength and stamina, allowing him to physically exert himself for 12 hours (if not overusing his Blood Manipulation), and lift far more than he normally could. Superhuman Strength: Kurt’s cybernetic implants allow him to lift 395 lbs. However, when manipulating the flow of his blood and channeling demonic energy he can lift up to 3 tons. Superhuman Speed: Kurt naturally possesses the speed of a normal human of his weight and speed, but while manipulating the flow of his blood he can increase his speed and agility to levels beyond that of the finest human athlete; he'd be capable of holding his own against the likes of Spider-Man but would still lack the balance and body-control of the latter. Superhuman Durability: Hemo Goblin's armor makes him highly resistant to damage. It's capable of withstanding high-caliber bullets and most energy lasers with ease; thanks to Kurt's Healing Factor and Blood Magic Shielding it can also withstand impact forces, temperature and pressure extremes, energy blasts, and falls from great heights without Kurt sustaining significant injury. However, the armor is extremely vulnerable to Heavenly energies and weaponry. Superhuman Senses: By controlling the flow of his blood Hemo Goblin can enhance his human senses and information processing beyond the scope of a normal human being. For example, he can increase his sense of smell without quite matching Wolverine's, and despite not being a genius he can temporarily increase his ability to process information by increasing the flow of blood to his brain. Weaknesses: Armor Dependency: Hemo Goblin is largely dependent on his armor, and if it were ever removed from him he’d be significantly weakened and have much less control over his powers. Not to mention the process may leave him crippled or even dead since his armor is bonded to him. Heavenly Magic: Because the Hemo Goblin armor is essentially infused with energy from a Hellish realm Kurt is especially vulnerable to attacks, objects, or beings that possess Heavenly energy. I.E. the attacks of an angelic being could be especially dangerous for Hemo Goblin. Mystical Energy Absorbers: Energy Manipulators capable of absorbing the Hell-Fire Armor's mystical energy could temporarily weaken or depower him. High School Dropout: Kurt was never a stellar student, and while he’s not dumb his technical expertise is limited to knowledge regarding his own powers, the criminal underworld, and a limited understanding of occult phenomenon. Mistrust of Eggheads: Because of his relationship with Kaige, Kurt has a distinct mistrust of both scientists and sorcery (other than his own). Therefore he’s slow to trust both. Misguided Sense of Worth: Due to his difficult upbringing and newfound power, Kurt has a strange sense of value and derives his worth from his spontaneity and willingness to put his life at risk. Limited Blood Manipulation: Kurt can only conjure blood or manipulate his own, he cannot manipulate the blood of others; though he may be able to discover other mystical means of using a target’s blood against them in the future. He is also dependent on sigils for his “Blood Magic”, and overexertion causes him to tire out quicker. Antarctic Vibranium: Like most other metals, Hemo Goblin's armor is highly vulnerable to the effects of the "Anti-Metal" Antarctic Vibranium, and without shielding himself via Blood Magic his armor is suspectible to great damage from it. - Power Gained By: Mutation combined with technological enhancements and the occult - If mutant, what class? Beta (though he could be classified as Alpha after his Cybernetic Enhancements) Taken Category: Antivillain (Neutral) Abilities: Knowledge of the Criminal Underworld: Through his brief stint as a wannabe hoodlum, as well as his actions after becoming the Hemo Goblin, Kurt has developed an understanding of how the criminal world operates. Occult Knowledge: Kurt possesses limited knowledge of the supernatural as a result of his relationship with Doctor Devdan, as well as reading his tomes. Decent Hand To Hand Combatant: Though he has no formal training Kurt has developed decent melee combat skills, though he mostly coasts along due to his armor and powers and is basically just a brawler with finesse. Pain Tolerance: Through the combination of his mutation literally burning him throughout his youth and the painful process of being grafted with cybernetics and his armor Kurt has developed an immense tolerance for pain. Weapons: Hemo Goblin Armor: More appropriately titled the Hell-Fire Armor MK1, Hemo Goblin’s armor is comprised of kevlar for mobility and titanium plating for extra protection. The armor is also allegedly bestowed with mystical energy from Hell itself. Like his cybernetic components, Hemo Goblin’s armor is grafted to his skin and a part of his body. It offers him extra protection from bullets, knives, impact forces, and energy attacks. The armor also possesses retractable steel claws for slashing opponents, a mid-range flame thrower located in its left gauntlet, and a grappling hook for extra mobility located in the right. Because the armor is comprised of titanium infused with mystical energy it's naturally lighter than steel but also far more durable. The armor's optics also grant him night-vision and allow him to detect supernatural phenomenon that would go unnoticed by most normal people. (As a side note it contains a zipper and rear flap opening to allow him to relieve himself) Hemo Goblin Sword: Comprised of titanium like his armor. Though titanium is actually a worse material than steel for sword making, Hemo Goblin’s sword has also been infused with hellish energy, making it far more durable and dangerous than a steel sword. However it’s not as hard as Adamantium or Vibranium. Submachine Gun: Hemo Goblin possesses a standard SMG. Steel Knives: He possesses several steel knives, usually kept secured near his armor. Kurt was born an only child to working-class parents. Originally he seemed to be a normal boy with an average childhood, but his X-Gene activated during a game of roughhousing with friends at the park. It originally seemed like Kurt just had a busted nose, but not only would the blood not stop flowing, it also had caustic properties that burned Kurt’s skin and anyone who came into contact with it. By the time he was rushed to the hospital caustic blood was seeping from every orifice in Kurt’s body, and a team of “specialists” had to be called in to treat the young mutant. As Kurt’s condition continued to worsen his secondary mutation activated—a Regenerative Healing Factor. His Healing Factor allowed Kurt to more or less live a normal life, but with the added dilemma that his caustic blood still flowed uncontrollably, the result was that his body and face became terribly scarred and disfigured. Kurt became a social pariah and an outcast, too mutant to be accepted by society, but too useless to bother attempting to join the X-Men—if anything his power would likely be a hindrance as he was in near-constant pain due to the burns constantly forming on and under his skin. Kurt dropped out of school at the age of 18 and began living off of public assistance within a dilapidated dwelling in a crime-infested area. Fed up with his life Kurt decided that if he was going to suffer he was going to go out in a blaze of glory. Finding a simple sack and cutting holes in the eyelids, Kurt donned it and began referring to himself as the Hood. From there he began committing petty crimes like robberies and burglaries, all the way up to ripping off and stealing from drug dealers. Kurt’s exploits as a criminal eventually got him noticed by local street gangs and they recruited Kurt into their ranks. They met with a group of mid-level dealers, with the plan being for Kurt to intimidate them into accepting a bad deal, but the dealers immediately knew that Kurt wasn’t the real Hood and a fight broke out. Most of his homies were killed or ran away, and Kurt himself was shot and beaten within an inch of his life while left to bleed out. Kurt’s Healing Factor kept him alive, but as he lay in a puddle of his caustic blood he cried as he knew his newfound pride would never recover. But as fate would have it a mysterious man approached him. The man called himself Kaige Devdan and claimed to be a doctor. He took Kurt in and the young man was treated with respect for the first time in a while. Kurt learned that Doctor Devdan was obsessed with merging science with the occult, and claimed that it was possible to manipulate the energies of Hell itself for scientific pursuits. But more importantly for Kurt, he claimed he and only he could fix Kurt and turn his curse into a gift. Having nothing left to lose Kurt agreed to be Kaige’s guinea pig in an experiment the doctor cheekily called The Weapon Hell Project. Kurt didn’t understand Devdan’s strange jargon that combined scientific concepts with supernatural phenomena, and he didn’t care as long as the doctor fixed him. Using his scientific genius and crude methods available to him, the doctor began fusing cybernetic components into Kurt’s body in a ritualistic fashion. The process was grueling and painful, and by the time Kurt wanted him to stop he was already too weak and imprisoned to fight back. For several grueling years, Kurt underwent his transformation at the behest of Doctor Devdan, and it all culminated with a mystical power suit being bonded to his flesh. For the first time since before his powers manifested, Kurt was able to live without pain—and even more spectacularly he began to slowly gain a degree of control over his powers. But that was not truly the final piece of the puzzle, as Kaige explained he had to make a “deal” to have all of this work. To his horror, Kurt watched as Kaige summoned a subservient demon that wished to possess Kurt’s body. Kurt managed to fight off the demon and destroyed the equipment Kaige used to summon it, then in a fit of rage brutally beat and killed Doctor Devdan before fleeing his lab, but not before stealing several of Kaige’s more mystical tomes to read—some of which contained information Kurt found relevant for improving his powers. Now armed with new weaponry and abilities, Kurt dubbed himself the Hemo Goblin and set off to see what the world has to offer a mutant demon. Other Information: Got permission from Bio to use The Hood in background. krzt "Boring..." krzt "Seen it..." krzt "Boring..." krzt "Re-run..." Hemo Goblin threw the surveillance equipments remote down as he turned in the swivel chair towards the sobbing mercenary nearby. "How do you guys bother getting up in the morning? You live such boring lives. All these channels, and not a single worthy foe! The hell am I supposed to do with some guy that lives in Eastern Europe I don't know? If you're gonna f**k with a normie, at least make it the President or Bill Gates or something! Maybe then you'll get the Avengers after you or something!" the mercenary coughed as he gathered his composure, trying to suppress the pain of his severed leg long enough to speak. "Wh-what do you want? Our money? O-our tech? I'll bring you to it all. Just don't let me die!" Hemo Goblin stared at the man for a while then hopped out of the chair as he broke out into laughter. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That was a good one!" Hemo Goblin strolled over to the dying mercenary and cocked his head as he looked down at him. "What do I want...?" "Nothing at all..." He stuck out a hand, the mercenary looked up at him wide-eyed. He knew what was coming next. "Goodbye," said Hemo Goblin as a red blood-like substance began to crackle into existence near the palm of his hand, the blood construct took a spear-like construction, and a second later flew forward and pierced the mercs head. "Try not to be such a bummer in the afterlife, m'kay snookums?" Are you a returning member? Yes Other Claimed Characters: Hulk, Moon Knight, Black Swan

ZAP MAGNET Full Name: Roy "Thunderstruck" Griffin Super Hero/Villain Name: Zap Magnet Gender: Male Age: 32 Occupation: Ecologist Team Affiliation: (none) General Appearance:Roy is a man of science, with black hair, dark brown eyes, he is usually seen in his work attire consisting of a shirt, dark-colored trousers, faux leather shoes, socks, a tie, gloves and a white hoodie. All the articles of clothing he wears have a sort of rubbery feeling on touch and does not conduct electricity. Halfway down his right cheek, Roy has a fractal scarring that extends all the way down his neck to his chest. He has various more fractal scars in his torso area to the point where most people would feel slightly repulsed looking at his bare body. Zap Magnet doesn't have a dedicated superhero attire, but Roy does own a yellow full body Hazmat suit and gas mask that protects him from most environmental hazards. When wearing it, he wears special black gloves and shoes that does not leak air from the outside. Roy has the physique of a regular untrained adult male, having above average height (175 cm) and average weight (70 kgs). Personality:Despite his various nature-related misfortunes, Roy has an optimistic outlook on life, often remarking that someone who's struck by lightning 16 times has little else to fear (and he's still counting!). While he initially hated the name "Thunderstruck", he has since embraced the alias and thought it was pretty cool. As a man of science though, he thinks it doesn't accurately describe what he does. Roy has difficulty picking up sarcasm or comedy and likes to explain anything he has knowledge off, or correcting factually inaccurate statements to the occasional irritation of those around him. He is also quite brave and will valiantly walk into danger if he could accomplish something by doing so. However, Roy has problems with intimacy as he worries that people who get too close to him might share his "curse", something he doesn't wish on anyone. Roy is a geek who enjoys various different interests, such as Japanese animation, real life superhero lore, and My Little Pony. He doesn't like to shove his interests on others but can be easily goaded into hours-long discussions about them if prompted. Storm Attraction: What earns Roy his alias and his so called "superpower", Zap Magnet can attract wind and lightning from his environment towards himself. Even when he's not using it, this power is constantly active to a degree and he is about 10,000x more likely to be struck by lightning than an average person. By focusing and increasing his adrenaline levels, Zap Magnet can raise the intensity of his power significantly, even drawing indoor wind and electricity (depending on how much is available). His power is at its most effective in Nature, as Zap Magnet can induce storms from clear weather and draw lightning strikes and hurricanes towards himself. Weaknesses:Vulnerability: Despite his impressive power on paper, Zap Magnet's weakness was that he is not immune to the potential damage of his own power. He experiences the same damage as an average person when struck by lightning (without special equipment) and can get blown away by the typhoons he creates. Therefore, great caution must be used when utilizing his power in order to minimize the damage he does to himself. Limited Control: Zap Magnet's power is always constantly active to a degree, and can't be turned off completely. While he's relatively safe indoors unless he increases the intensity of his power, he has a far higher chance to get randomly struck by lightning outdoors, especially in situations of poor weather. Zap Magnet is also unable to control where the typhoons and lightning strikes he triggers are created, only the fact that they will go after him regardless of what or whoever else they strike in the process. Power Gained By: Delta Mutant Abilities:Geek Knowledge: Roy is familiar with most national and international Earth superheroes and supervillains and constantly looks for more information and updates on said figures. He will be familiar with most superpower related news articles, but also has some degree of knowledge on more obscure heroes, as long as they've had exposure at some point. Bravery: While he is not fearless, it is very difficult for someone to intimidate or scare Roy as a result of the experiences he's gone through since early in his life. Weapons:Electric Resistant Clothing: Roy's entire wardrobe has electric resistant properties, as a result having slightly rubbery feel to the touch. When Roy is damaged by electricity, most of the damage will initially be absorbed by his clothing material, which will be burnt in the process. Roy's regular clothing is effective at preventing damage from up to two lightning strikes. Hazmat Suit: Roy's Hazmat Suit equipped with a gas mask is his best protection from environmental damage, including radiation, toxic fumes, harmful microorganisms, high or low temperature, and of course electricity. His suit is yellow and covers his entire body, save for his arms and legs which are covered with gloves and boots of similar materials and immune to leakage. Although it fulfills its function near flawlessly when undamaged, any puncture or tear on the suit significantly reduces its effectiveness. Roy was born to two "normal" parents in eastern Colorado and as a child, enjoyed hiking through a forest a few miles away from his home. When he was 8 years old on a hiking trip with his family, they found themselves in the middle of a sudden out pour. While looking for shade, lightning struck down and hit Roy out of all members of his family. The young boy spent 2 weeks in the hospital recovering and was left with a permanent scar on his abdomen. This would be the first of several such incidents the boy would go through. Eventually, his family stopped hiking through the forest. That didn't stop Roy's interests however, and he would spend hours at a time reading through books about the flora and fauna of forests and jungles all throughout the world. His dream was to one day explore every jungle in the world. But Roy also had other interests. During one of his visits to the hospital, he came across an article about the mutant superhero/X-man Storm with her powers of controlling the weather. Roy began to fantasize about his "bad luck" being a superpower and started developing an interest in superhero lore, which gradually extended to other things such as various animated series. After graduating high school, Roy's fascination with forestry led him to pursue the career of ecologist. At one of his University's Science Fairs, Roy got a DNA test for fun and discovered that he is a mutant possessing the X-gene. Following this revelation, he attempted to experiment with the degree of control he can apply to his power, though only very rarely considering the amount of risk involved with it. Roy received a Master's Degree in Biodiversity and Conservation from the University of Southampton and started his career as an independent researcher. Other Information:Roy was prone on top of a 50 foot tree, not a single safety harness in sight that would protect him from a painful and potentially lethal fall. He wasn't a fan of extreme sports or an adrenaline junkie, but the reason one Roy Griffin would subject himself to such an experience was for none other than the pursuit of science. The Phillipine Eagle, an endangered East Asian bird of prey found only in one specific country, Roy was determined to make the most out of his trip. Observing its nest from a distance, he noted every single activity, documenting when the bird left and returned to its nest area and how it interacted with its eggs and hatch-lings. Soon, he would have built the most complete database on-- "Ow!" Roy cringed as he felt a sudden sting on his right arm. A fire ant had made its way there while he wasn't looking. Roy quickly swiped the insect away, though the pain of its bite would linger for a while yet. "Damn it." He cursed. As he feared, the sky soon turned dark and droplets of rain fell upon the trees in a matter of minutes. A storm was brewing. "Crap, should I pack it up?" But just as he contemplated his options, the eagle he observed suddenly returned to its nest in a hurry, quite possibly responding to the storm. He couldn't miss this, Roy decided to stay there and take some notes, thunderstorms be damned. --------------------
What's reward without a little risk? Are you a returning member? Yeah, sure.

Roborilla Full Name: Subject DLX-15 Super Hero/Villain Name: Roborilla Gender: Male (gorilla), Neutral/Male (AI) Age: Approximately 10 years old Occupation: Freelancer, escaped project Team Affiliation: None General Appearance: Roborilla stands a full 8ft in height and weighs around 600lbs - his gorilla body is augmented with extensive cybernetic components, such that he stands much taller and has more mass than an average gorilla build. His dark hair and skin is visible in some places - like around his face and hands - but he is mostly covered in black and grey dermal plating, sensors, and various other technological features. As a result, his organic body is usually fairly docile in appearance, though physically imposing, and generally follows the prompting of his onboard artificial intelligence regarding moment-to-moment activity. As one might expect, however, his primal nature is on full display in the heat of combat and there would be no mistaking his passivity in those times. Because his cyborg components have their roots in Deathlok technology, his left eye will often glow with an eerie pale yellow light. Personality: Roborilla is a composite being. His physical body, a cybernetically-enhanced western gorilla, still thinks and behaves largely as would be expected - he is interested in little more than eating, sleeping, and laying in the cool shade. Threats to his person can be met with fleeing or rage depending on the nature of the threat. In some way, deep down that he could never articulate, he knows he's different than he used to be. Something hovering at the edge of self-awareness indicates a change has taken place. Perhaps if given some time to contemplate this, he might arrive at some profound new enlightenment... but he'd rather just eat some delicious fruit and take a nap. He's still just a regular gorilla, or what's left of one. The onboard AI installed alongside the gorilla brain is capable of developing a personality over time but being so recently installed, is still learning the ropes of social interaction and the nuances of being integrated into jungle animal. While most communication between the two takes place internally, it is capable of broadcasting across many frequencies and utilizing external speakers to interact with the environment. Cold, calculating, methodical, tactical... but also somehow smug, subtley a little bitter, and still trying to grasp the concept of sarcasm successfully. There are anomalies in its core programming that it cannot explain - it traces these back to the first teleportation event, though more than that it hasn't determined. The AI has no more loyalty to its creators than its organic counterpart and knows that the pair are, at least for now, trapped in some sort of sisyphean cycle of 'heroics' that may last some time. All that being said, Roborilla is generally helpful - or at least attempts to be so - and is frequently able to cite seemingly random laws, statutes, codes, or other trivia. It may present as pretentious but really it's just because of the widely-varied nature of his previous assists, such that he has quite the accumulation of that sort of knowledge. Some days he's helping get a kitten from a tree, other days he's aiding the Avengers against Kang - flexibility is key but can result in an appearance of uselessness or "Why is he here again?"-ness. Troubleseeker: This is Robo's primary power and its exact nature is as yet unexplained. Roborilla is constantly telepathically scanning the planet for crises. When one is found, he is teleported to its vicinity (this varies in range but a bank robbery would probably mean not leaving more than a few feet from the bank, a nuclear plant meltdown would probably confine him to the plant's facilities, etc.) and unable to leave until it has been averted. What qualifies for a crisis, however, seems very subjective and can run the gamut of just about any definition - it might be someone really stressed about filing taxes and it might be Hulk rampaging through a town. The power can trigger as often as once every twenty-four hours and there's a cooldown time of the same duration, beginning after the crisis has been resolved. Typically, resolution means teleportation to wherever Robo calls home - currently, the Reed residence - but this can be delayed if he's involved in some sort of clean-up. He can sense when a teleportation is about to take place a few seconds ahead of when it happens, and his body is transported instantaneously from one location to the next. There's no disorientation as such but it usually takes an additional timeframe - a few seconds to a few minutes - to determine his exact location and the nature of the crisis (and how to de-escalate it). He won't be teleported if he's incapable of addressing the crisis, so if he's seriously injured or if there's nothing he could do to help then nothing will happen - which leads to some interesting events where he learns something new (like filing taxes). This is why it might take him a minute to determine why he has arrived somewhere - but he knows there must be a reason. Superhuman Strength: Robo's cyborg body enhances his base strength, rendering him able to life 1t with ease and small cars with effort. Superhuman Durability: Dermal plating covers most of Roborilla, comprised of various synthetic materials that are able to stop small arms fire and are temperature resistant. Something like an uzi would pose little threat, as long as it didn't hit exposed threat, but a fifty caliber rifle would definitely be a problem. Nanite Healing: Any damage to his exoskeletal frame or flesh can be healed over time as nanites in Robo's bloodstream and internal systems are able to self-repair. As a general rule, his 'healing factor' is about three times that of a normal gorilla. One entity can carry the load, so if his AI is offline or his gorilla brain is unconscious, the other can control basic motor functions. Wireless Uplink: The onboard AI is capable of connecting wireless to any network and is usually able to hack low- to mid-level security protocols. Weaknesses: The obvious weakness is that Robo has no control over his Troubleseeker power at all. He is whisked away with little more than a few seconds' warning. Once on location, he can't leave until the crisis is over. A villain who discovers these facts could easily use them to set up a series of ambushes and probably succeed at using them as 'rabbits' while starting another crisis. Despite the nanite healing system, any serious injury to his exposed flesh or anything that gets through his dermal plating is going to be an issue. His AI brain is, in theory, hackable and all his cybernetic components are susceptible to things like magnetic force or electric attacks, and his organic gorilla brain would be affected by anything a normal gorilla brain would be affected by - limited mind control, animal control, etc. Due to his size, navigating small spaces could be a problem. He is fairly inexperienced and could be easily tricked or manipulated - his AI is more of a guide and gorillas, while intelligent, aren't usually skilled in nuances of human motivations and agendas. Some of these weaknesses could be compensated for over time, but this is Robo at his current state of affairs. One thing of note - if HYDRA ever realized their creation was loose, they'd be very interested in recovering it. - Power Gained By: Extensive cybernetic augmentation using Deathlok derivative technology. - If mutant, what class? n/a Taken Category: Neutral Abilities: Roborilla's AI is loaded with various combat and tactical software so he's a fairly competent brawler, and the AI is also a decent computer hacker. Overall, his ability to assess and act with calm reserve helps support de-escalation behavior. Weapons: n/a Roborilla was created unknowingly during HYDRA’s experimentation with Deathlok technology. They were incorporating the cybernetics into various lifeforms, hoping to create an army of super soldiers who were easily controlled. The project was ultimately a failure as no subjects were able to withstand the surgeries or software integration. All specimens were sent to be incinerated but Robo's body teleported away unnoticed, appearing hundreds of miles away to the basement of the Reed family. Will Reed is employed by ROXXON corporation - a front/division of Advanced Idea Mechanics, though Will isn’t aware of the connection - and spends his days there (and occasional nights and weekends) as a junior sales representative. Leah Reed, his wife, is a stay-at-home mother, homeschooling their two tinker-minded children, Orville and Amelia, in their modest home located in the city of Manchester, NH. Their days are filled with experiments, field trips, and reading (alongside traditional practices like writing research papers, Math quizzes, etc.). It came as quite a surprise when, without warning, a six-foot tall cyborg gorilla suddenly appeared in their basement. Recognizing him for what he was - a technical marvel and probable super-something - the Reed family decided to accommodate their new houseguest with some bedding and a decent supply of fruits, nuts, berries, and grubs. The grocery bill is substantial but they've been able to manage so far. Robo enjoys spending time with the children playing and his AI is a great help when it comes to research papers. They've even taught him to play games on their PlayBox, though his large hands have trouble with the relatively tiny controller. Will and Leah appreciate the extra babysitting too, as long as they sure he won't be teleported halfway across the globe in the middle of Date Night. As far as his track record, Robo hasn't encountered any major supervillains yet. It's mostly been muggings and petty crimes punctuated with untangling slinkies for children or talking down jumpers at the top of a skyscraper. Rescuing people from burning buildings or upturned cars is pretty standard at this point as well - but the trend in severity is increasing. His reputation as an urban legend who shows up and disappears at random continues to grow... but he expects his first super-crisis very soon. Other Information: This character probably breaks all the rules for the site but I applied with him anyway because he's awesome. I rolled him up randomly with the old MSH system years ago but never got to actually write for him. Troubleseeker is intentionally kept kind of vague and I like that - it's situational and can fit all kinds of narratives. "That's right, Marv. Chopper footage shows gridlock for... wait a minute... I've got somethi- whatisthat?!"Hundreds of feet below the news helicopter, smack dab in the middle of a 4-way intersection and ground zero of some kind of foul-up that brought traffic to a virtual standstill across the downtown area, a luminous bubble suddenly appeared in mid-air. It lasted only an instant and what it left behind could only be described as the most newsworthy event in anchorman Marvin Loughlin's career - not that he would ever realize it. "What is it, Charlie? Can you zoom in any more?"The helicopter entered a more stable holding pattern while the camera technician did everything in his power to enhance the scene beneath him. "It looks like a gorilla, Marv! A shiny metal... gorilla!""Yet another lame would-be supervillain, no doubt," muttered Loughlin. For his two cents, the world was just about full up with masked vigilantes and if he never saw another brightly-colored unitard, it'd be too soon. "What's he up to?"-- "Please remain calm," said the mechanical ape. Actually, to be accurate, it wasn't him doing the talking. The digitized voice seemed to be broadcasting from external speakers mounted on his head and shoulders. The creature's lips weren't moving at all - his face was fairly dull and uninterested. "We are working to solve the problem at top speed!" Not that it made one inch of difference to those stuck in their vehicles but there was a smattering of rolled eyes and shrugged shoulders nonetheless. I'm not picking up anything unusual on the city's wireless traffic network... Ah, there's the issue! Food for Rilla? No, no food. We need to get to that junction box - see it over there? A blinking red circle displayed on the gorilla's optical HUD. The cyborg beast lumbered slowly in that direction. Good, yes. Now open it. ...treat for Rilla? Vague memories of puzzle boxes and rewards hovered at the edge of memory. Treats were delicious, but this kind of box didn't look like anything he'd seen before. ...yes, I guess. Sort of. You need to... see the latch? Another blinking red circle. It was obvious now - Rilla was so smart. Robo's voice was annoying but his circles were pretty to watch and sometimes he played music. Rilla's huge hand reached forth and opened the small panel to reveal a mass of tangled wires and relays. The insulation on one cable in particular was damaged. Electricity arced from it at regular intervals - clearly this was the source of the local crisis. It would have to be by-passed and over-ridden. Excellent! Well done! Treat for Rilla?
Soon! We need to... -- "I can't quite tell from here but it looks like... yes, he is... that creature is accessing the control panel for the traffic lights! I can see police weaving their way through the center of this mess but it'll still take them a few minutes, Marv. I don't- wait... wait a minute... he did it! The traffic lights appear to be working again! Traffic is moving!""It was probably that monstrosity that caused the issue in the first place folks, just between us," Loughlin knew his demographic shared his suspicions about 'heroes', "But it looks like everyone will be home for dinner after all."Are you a returning member? Nope. Other Claimed Characters: Deathlok, Sauron, Mojo, and Mole.
