Charles' reading upon the brain scan brought some fruit, though not what Reed hoped for. His best bet was the Kree Homeworld, but that could end up being a suicide mission if he doesn't provide a proper argument for why he'd be within their space. If he could make it their despite their wide spread blockade with their numerous fleets. The other descriptions given by Xavier were brief, but didn't help a ton. Richards would have to make some inferences. Such as an assume that the descriptions of these other worlds were not "far" from Earth. Possibly within a nearby solar system. He'd have to give careful examination with the Electron Telescope within the Baxter Building to examine all the nearby worlds, any that would provide a possible avenue for an aquatic ecosystem. Still, he'd follow up on Strange's and Charles' suggestions. It couldn't hurt to provide more copies of the brain scan to both of them after all. Perhaps the duo could come up with a better clue to help find Sue. "I'll make 2 more scans for both of you as soon as I can. But Charles, Stephen, can either of you try to read into the scan once more now? Perhaps there's a memory of some kind of map? A clue like that would prove incredibly helpful."Tony would then speak logically about keeping cooler heads. They needed to not rush into things, in case they were somehow falling for a trap. Reed had his doubts, since he knew they couldn't have expected one of their more trusted infiltrators to end up deceased all of a sudden. Nor should they expect him to make this brain scan. Unless they had a copy of him already on board... No, he couldn't second guess himself. He needed to act, or else the more time he wastes, the more he risks his wife's safety. That was something he couldn't tolerate, no matter what. Despite his gestures, despite his demeanor, he wouldn't know what to do with himself without her. That hidden doubt, that fear, it was all hidden behind his calm and composed mannerisms. He had to hope his allies would provide this clue. Then he could act immediately, for time was not something he could waste here.

"Keeping the Dream alive."

"I believe observation and knowledge must precede action."
The words Tony spoke fell on deaf ears -- not because Strange didn't care, but because his focus was already squarely somewhere else rather than with mincing words. He listened intently to Xavier's assessment of what he could find, and it unfortunately didn't garner much. Not that Strange blamed him; incomplete mental scans were very much not the real deal, and that carried with it no small amount of difficulties to navigate. Telepathy was already a difficult enough skill to master without introducing extenuating circumstances. Still, he believed wholeheartedly that between the two of them, they might be able to divine some kind of actionable information, no matter how small it may be. Strange rounded the table until he stood next to the Professor, glancing to him. "Tony is right. We haven't a single idea of what exactly we're dealing with yet, nor the scale of our enemy's forces. I want to save as many lives as the next person, but we won't be much good to the Earth at large if we get ourselves killed; or worse, replaced," he concurred. Then, he looked back to Reed. "I can try this, see what I can divine, but I'll only do so with your permission," Strange explained, looking to the scans. "I'll be essentially stepping into your mind and seeing through your eyes, using your skills with my magic to touch the scan and hopefully transport us into the memories. Think of it as a form of psychometry... but a bit more complex."Strange extended a hand in offer to Xavier. "Ready if you are."

"Oppression is no excuse for vengeance -- for murder."
There had to be more they could do right now. In times of emergency, when no one else could, the Illuminati needed to be the ones to solve every problem. As the most powerful minds on the planet, they had a duty to exhaust every avenue they had to save the day.
"It would be easier for us to go in with a specific goal in mind," the man added. "If we look for thoughts associated with a map, or paths to the city, we would be able to notice them sooner."
While Cerebro would be helpful, they had to make do with what they had for now. Working with Stephen wasn't something he'd done often, and he wasn't well-versed in the ways of magic. But he at least trusted the Sorcerer Supreme enough to take his hand.
"You'll have the full extent of power, as well as my support." "I wonder... Does the death of innocent people free you? I think not."

And fathom that distance, the mad must reap Meet Namor sea lord, Prince of the deep Here for you to fear at any cost
For once, Tony Stark suggested that they didn't just rush in without knowing all of the facts. Normally he was the one who tended to be impulsive . . . the one who would leap first into the fire and ask questions later. He wasn't always the one who sat back and wanted to wait until they had more knowledge about what they were about to get into, which made this so much more unusual.
For now, he sat back and just listened as the others went over their findings. He crossed his muscular arms, indicating his impatience with just sitting around and talking when the life of the real Susan Storm could be in severe danger. Although he knew her to be an extremely capable woman who was strong of heart, there may be threats out there that were too great even for her.
As he fell silent, he made sure to safeguard his thoughts as he did not want his recent encounter to come out when it was very much private. It did not matter if it was a Skrull impersonator. If there was any inkling of a hint that there were security lapses in Atlantis, he would never hear the end of it and others within the group would likely want to impose their own safety measures, thus threatening the security of his people even more.
Tellin you to get busy or you better get lost
