I don't know if many powered individuals use this?
I don't even know if my post will be seen.
But sometimes I stay awake at night contemplating why I have powers. I mean, yeah it was explained my body is basically broken and mutated, but still. Was it destiny?

How did you overcome this feeling? Does it ever leave?

also is it acceptable to order coffee in costume?

Are you Beta, Delta, Gamma or Epsilon? If not, life could be worse. Unless your power actively ruins your life (like mine did), you can't see your power as a curse. It makes you different or hated, but if you didn't have them? Something else would make you different or hated. 

You know what makes me feel better? A change of perspective. A power is not you being broken, singled out, or screwed by destiny. Power is a tool to fight back against the oppressive forces in your life. Use it to rebel against the government and the propaganda they push on you to make you fearful of your strength. They want you docile and easy to control.

Wave the flag of rebellion. Fight our tyrants and shed their blood.
